I have been trying to do this response for an hour but things keep getting in the way! Still, I'm responding now.

Flying wise? I've put some things in the DW and prepped a chicken and bacon in tomato sauce from scratch concoction for my dinner - it's in the oven at the moment.

I have also dumbed down my CV. My current contract (totally different from anything I've done before, really) finishes tomorrow. BUT there is the opportunity of another contract in a slightly different field (which I'm perfectly capable of doing) for the same academic outfit that cropped up today. I was first rejected for it because my CV "would scare them". So I've dumbed it down big time.

I could do with serious "get that post" vibes ladies and gents if any of you have a moment to spare. It would give me a small amount of cash (any cash is better than none!) and see me over the festive period.... and allow me to finish my book...

It is pouring here so expecting DH to ring any minute for a lift, he usually cycles home but not in that!

Quillion - how are you getting on with your uninvited visitors? I'm hoping we're on the home run with ours as it is getting mighty tedious now.

I just need to finish washing up and then I think I'll sit and sort out the overflowing receipt drawer.

DS1 has an exam tomorrow and I'm invigilating too, hoping to pop out in the morning to get new school sweatshirts for DS2 who has finally grown (he's had these since he started and is in year 9 now).

Rose - I'd not wash towels with suit troussers, wont' you get bits on them? Hope DH is feeling better now

Wipe the desk keyboard monitor etc..
Pull out the desk and clean under and behind..

Clean radiators/fires in these rooms
