Yes they do,my HP 990cxi came with one.
  • It's certainly unusual for a printer to be supplied off the shelf with a USB lead. The only places I've found which do this as standard are QVC, and Dell with the £10 720 a couple of months back.
  • Have to admit I haven't opened mine yet :o because I was in 2 minds whether or not to swap it with the one at work that cost 19.99 lol Very basic one but excellent for my needs.

Is there something missing from the one they sent out?

Got my 7450 today but the question is will I get one on Thursday when it should be delivered ?? :D I think not....

Seems like they just want them out of the way now.......

But just taken databar back to store and got a Full refund including postage £23.94 and only had to pay £19.99 for printer as they said postage wouldnt be refunded so they knocked it off first...............

So cheap printer and FREE postage to boot...............:D :D
Took mine back today as well - and got my postage back as well! Didn't even need to ask. Seems taking it back to index is the best way for it! :)
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:
  • At last, the OP got the printers!! A neighbour brought me two HP7540’s round tonight and the instore refund is showing, result! Fair play to Index for sorting it, but what a palaver.

If you fancy a laugh, this is how it all started: It was down to MSE in a way, having read the eskimonell QGIWYC ‘Massive Index Sale’ post (cheers), I reserved a few small gifts, went in and paid for them. After waiting ages for one of the items, and with no staff in sight, I had to leave for work. I came back the next day to collect the outstanding item only to be told that the only one in the store had been found but was broken, so they offered to refund me. Fine, no problem.

But then…grrrr.. they wanted the card that I had paid with; I didn’t have it on me, so they refused to refund me a whopping £2.50! They wouldn’t even straight swap a pack of batteries hanging behind the counter because they cost 49p more! Thinking I might get a voucher out of it, I decided to have a moan on the Index website but as I was browsing their sale items, this printer popped up and said “I’m 19.99, please put me on MSE”.

For a moment I thought about ordering one or two and keeping quiet until they were delivered. Do you reckon I would have got both printers? I’m not so sure. I’m happy to see so many of you getting them (and I bet HP are too)

    The rest my friends…

Anyway, I’m off to Index tomorrow to exchange one of my 7450 printers for something else, (it was a present from my Aunt and I don’t have the receipt). How much did it cost?

    Only joking.

    Thanks guys
