I couldnt even find it, reckon its hid behind a load of memory leed stick thingy boxes ;D
Have to give index 10 outa 10 for providing the material for the most amusing thread on here for a while .
Like a lot of others I cant wait to read tomorow to see if anybodys recieved anything and what. I wonder how many memory leed stick things have been sent out......... and even more worrying how much the replacement ink cartridges are for em ;D

Despite being caught up in all of this you have to laugh. I have heard of a 3 in 1 but didn't realise this was what it meant. Having sent e-mails to Index, Watchdog and The "A" Team (they can make bazookas out of vacuum cleaners so they can make a printer out of a USB Cable, memory stick and some left over Christmas Decorations). I am now sitting back and wtching the fun. The best £19.99 plus P+P I have ever spent.

I don't think we'll be able to claim this as a free gift since it wasn't unsolicited within the meaning of the Distance Selling rules.  It's just that they've sent you the wrong item.
However, as an extremely busy person (MSE takes up a lot of time!) I don't have much time to waste on going to the Post Office - which is why I choose to shop online.
So I will be insisting that Index collect their USB cable printing thingy from my house at a date and time which is convenient to me (i.e. after 7pm weekdays, or Sunday morning only), and that they deliver my printer too!   ;D
I will also be giving them a load of verbals if they try to charge me £19.99 plus postage for a 64MB USB flash drive, when I can get one from Ebuyer for £7.99 including postage - and that's for the USB 2.0 one!

I reckon I'll just sit back & relax.

I won't refuse delivery of anything, it may well be my sweetener to forget about it all. Let's face it the 'other' printer was out of stock already and it's also discontinued

I know that I will not have to pay for the wrong item and I am sure that I am not expected to arrange for it's return. So what the hell.

I am also positive that I will not lose a penny out of it
