:(I tried the Click & Reserve on the website for 110-085, but it came up out of stock everywhere. So out of interest I popped into an Index store and tapped in the code on the stock-checker machine.
It was indeed out of stock, but came up as a Freecom 64Mb USB device, price £19.99. 110-185 was a printer, £89.99, and they had plenty!
I can only think that someone at Index has been having a laugh! Watch out for a lot of EBay items being withdrawn tomorrow!0 -
I think I know why this is cheap.
If you look in their catalogue, p408 , the HP 7260 is item 110-185 at £89.
On page 362 the same printer is £99, as item 110-085.
Regards my earlier request as to whether anyone could look in the printed catalogue at what the two codes were actually for, Scat had already answered.. (I knew I'd seen it somewhere but couldn't find it again for looking).
If this is correct then what's all this other item nonsense about?
If Scat/anybody can scan & post, it would be interesting to see it.0 -

I just called now and the rep said that I was going to get a:
Freecom 64Mb USB device tomorrow
Well, Index have certainly started 2005 off with a flyer(!)0 -
Is there people who ordered when this item was in stock not had the second email yet? I haven't but it looks like the payment is pending on my account. Can anyone confirm they have had the funds actually taken from their cards and not just reserved ?

I can't scan it but can confirm that in the Autumn /Winter 2004 catalogue 110-085 is indeed a 7260 HP Photosmart printer .As the previous poster mentioned.. it is on page 362,at the top left hand corner underneath another HP printer, the P145 Photosmart. This page is the page after all the digital cameras in the catologue, under the heading Digital Processing, develooment and accessories. For some strange reason the printer is only featured here and not in the printer section later in the catalogue0 -
I have had payment taken from my credit card within 2 days of ordering on-line....
but given my comments above I am pretty sure that I will not be getting a printer! >:(0 -

The funds have been reserved with my bank but the bank says until they get the authority slip from the retailer it will not be a transaction. However, My balance is now £20 odd less because of this. If the retailer don't CLAIM the funds they have reserved, then it will be added back to my account in about 10 days.
This don't sound right to me - any legal experts tell me if a contract has been formed or not ??
