Ok, ok, scratch the idea about telling them to check their own website, they don't have access to it!!!! Gets better doesn't it??????

Anyway, asked them (again) what was being dispatched and they said it was a Freecom USB device. I said I ordered a printer and she said that the Freecom USB device was a printer as well (at this point I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!) so I continued by saying that the 2 items are very different. She ended up saying that I should reject the goods tomorrow on arrival....

They normally have a copy of their catalogue there though so you could try asking them to turn to page 362 of their Autumn/Winter catalogue and they should see the page I printed above with the printer at the top left corner,second one down

if you look closely at the pic you can see a cable with the no. 110-075 priced at £7.99 now that is a no. very close to the printer
hmmmmm not bad might be getting a cable worth £7.99 and the bargain price of £19.99 aaaaarggghhh

This is my first post and I was upset at missing one of these printers...or whatever it will be.... an online lucky dip.

Anyway, I'm not a legal expert but I understand that under the distance selling regulations that if you order an item (based on the description) and you get confirmation of the order agreeing to sell it to you then index have entered into a legally binding contract to supply said item at the cost shown in the agreement.

Of course it may cost you more than £89.99 or maybe a letter from the trading standards office would suffice.

You should all email the trading standards office and watchdog if you don't get a printer.

I know what it is, it a new Printer developed in conjunction with Freecom. It's a HP-Freecom Photo USB Memory Printer. LOL We should take bets on what they'll think of next.
I can't wait till tomorrow just to see what turns up. Probably see Jeremy Beadle pop out or somat ;D
