I dug a new flower bed for my roses.

Pray for nice weather next weekend please - so I can plant the roses and use my hippo bags to get rid of all the crap.

I am well surprised I did it! :)
    Nevertheless she persisted.

well done on the garden buffy..wish I had spent some time at the allotment but its been freezing today. Not that it should put me off just have been lazy! I must remember that actually staying in the house all day doesn't make me feel good..was like this on Friday. I NEED fresh air and to spend a good proportion of the day outside

Didn't think of that Sally! I've taken a stew out now anyway, it'll be less washing up!

Back from my first cross country run, it was an experience!
We cheered the juniors on, both of ours did really well!
I was glad that I'd taken my fleece because it was pretty cold stood around waiting but lovely to watch a couple of beautiful red kites gliding above.
I was very pleased that the organisers observed the 2 minutes silence for remembrance day before we set off on our 4 mile run.

Not having trail shoes made it very difficult for me to run properly let alone grip the route!
I'm not sure that this cross country lark is for me but I would like to do another now I know what it's like.

I have definitely joined the right running club, they are so friendly and cheer everyone in whether first, last and from all teams.
I was one of the last in of our lot and they were all jumping up and down shouting and cheering me on which felt great :D
The club that dominated the meeting were a bit snobby and one of the Dads seperated their team's juniors out on the junior start line to take a photograph leaving the few other kids from other teams out, you could see how uncomfortable they looked which I thought was a bit off, I would have encouraged them ALL to get in on the picture!

I also now have my official Eccleshill Roadrunners vest top too! :T

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hey well done! Sounds like you've joined a good group. It's funny how much difference there is in groups for the same hobby, I've noticed it with book clubs too.

Is the top to stop anyone messing with you? I went in the lane ends a bit back, talk about rough!

Not sure whether to be insulted or not, I posted a thread for my sister, and first someone thought I was her mum, then her brother!
