Hi everybody,
Finally managed to get through to the mortgage department at the bank and have set up internet account so that I can make additional payments to the mortgage.
So just to test it and make sure everything worked ok I made another payment this month.

1st February - automated overpayment of £500 has been collected. Most I can overpay on my Nationwide fixed rate mortgage, although I've also reduced the term with effect from this month by altering my normal monthly payment from £898.03 to £929.33 - ie an additional £31.30.
Year to date: £1,000
Aim: £6,000

Hello I am number 100. We have an Offset mortgage so our challenge is to save and reduce our offset balance. Have paid the first £1k in Jan towards our £12k target for the year but then this weekend got hit by a rather hefty bill for car service & repairs :mad:0
