Hi there everyone
Well I can report that for January - I have managed to reduce the mortgage by £2,100
I think its going to be a slow start to the overpayments this year, as I have alot of large annual bills going out in Feb/Mar - but trying to keep focused.

I'm so cross......!
Hubby hasn't had his payslip yet (normally in by now) AND I WANT TO DO THE BUDGETING for the month - oops flipping caps lock! The electrician is coming to do the work we know about week after next so that's £600 for him we could possibly scrape together instead of OP this month - but that means no OP ggggrrrr!!
And the bill for our holiday is payable end Feb, l thought it was March so possibly no OP for end Feb either.
But l have to OP something even if it's just a little bit otherwise l;ll be in this bad mood all month.

Using the spreadsheet if i continue to pay the amount im paying my mortgage term will be reduced from 30 years to 17 years. This includes the OP i am making of £60.11 from February 2010. If i did not overpay but continued to pay the amount im paying every month it would be 18 years. Wow little payments do make a difference.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Wow! £100,000 is amazing! I am on count down to pay day (only 2 days away), so that I can make an OP.
I think that we will hit the 1 Million mark by the end of the year if we carry on like this!2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -

Hi
No. 34 reporting in - January Overpayment is £85 - unfortunately my budget went a bit wrong due to having to replace two tyres on my car. Ok, my OP wasn't as much as I'd hoped for, but it's a start and it's addictive - I've joined the grocery challenge to help control my food shopping!
Congrats to all who made an OP. :j
Thanks
