Hi all,
Can I have number 77 Cake?
Although I have debt in my signature I want to overpay by £2000 next year (minimum amount allowed)
My debt will be my loan (once I get rid of my credit card) and the rate is not that different to my mortgage rate (unfortunately) so for the sake of motivation I would like to pay a bit off my mortgage next year.
Thanks in advance!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
DFD:Nov 22/June 22
Mortgage: €199,712
MFD: March 2042/July 20340 -
Thanks for my number - 1974 is my date of birth so 74 is ideal!!! It's an extra incentive to be MF by 2014!!!!:T
I must be psychic
Good luck :beer:clearmydebts wrote: »Hi all,

Hi Cake
Would you mind adding me to the 2010 MFW Challenge please?
My OP target is £3000 minimum...however I am currently looking at the possibility that my "forever house" is about to come onto the market at an affordable price **fingers crossed** therefore may have to re-think the £3K
until this happens though........it's OP all the way!!

Ah thank you Cake

Number 78 has a nice solid feel to it....in fact it's going to be my new lucky number:heart2:
It's the prospect of being the the "forever house" that's providing the incentive to smash the mortgage which is a bit nuts in a way as I will no doubt end up with an even bigger mortgage BUT in the house for me (and the kids and the dog and their friends and my friends!) to have a happy happy happy future in:smileyhea
That's great you're in your "forever house" Cake must be the best feeling (well bar being in the "forever house" with no mortgage

)
Good luck to everyone for 2010 and thank you for letting me join:heart2:

oo i'm number 69 oooer.
I think alot of our OP will be from interest cuts. Our fixed rate ends in a few weeks and then trakc the LIBOR I am estimating that will save £100 a month straight off. I will be keeping payments at the present rate. I have been looking at weezl74 diary and seeing her aving on utility bills. Very impressed.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000
