Hi all... I've just updated the google doc thing to say I've finally decided on £2000 in OPs for 2010.
That should have me nicely on target to be mortgage free just in time for the 25th annivarsary of taking out my 1st ever mortgage ie the day I would have been mortgage free had I not moved and changed my mortgage back to 25yrs again. (Did that sentance make any sense?I know what I mean... :rotfl:)
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hello, I would really like to start the challenge in 2010. My mortgage is £117800but attached to that is a stupid loan for £27800 which is part of the Together mortgage with Northern Rock.
We can only affordto pay interest only so if I could look to overpaying £300 per month then I would be very happy!0 -
hey, can I join too??? I would like to put myself down for £100 pcm / £1200 pa as finances are a bit tight at the moment but I think a start would be good!
This will have to go into a savings account as I can't make overpayments without penalty for a while.

Zavarony - is it you that's caused the sudden burst of interest? Should I thank you or curse you?
rsdiscos - that's practially £10, a huge overpayment compared to some
various peeps - £1200 isn't small to me£100/month is my real challenge (rest is primarily interest rate cuts) and I'll be really chuffed if I make it :j:dance:
