hi all,
just an update for my diary:D
switched broadband and changed mobile phone package today saving myself £380 this year and earnt a fiver through quidco:) that extra money will be diverted into saving for next years car mot/service which is due every january:)
just gained myself a very happy ten year old as he is getting my old d500, so wont have to buy him a new phone for his birthday in march as previously planned:) a tiny saving there! he would rather have the d500 anyway than a not as good but new phone!
bought myself some desperately needed new bits of make up through pigsback, earnt 100 points, got the mascara and eyeshadows i wanted and the cleanser and moisturisor set for a friend for birthday and the free make up set for my sisters birthday:)
found a mechanic to do my service for me, a friend of my ex husbands cash in hand:) will put in next week as mot is due in 3 weeks:)
closed my cahoot savings account....had forgotten about it......10.17 in there...they are sending me a cheque:) bonus!!!:T:T:T
am doing well so far i think:) this overdraft is going to be history:):):)November NSD's - 70 -

hi LA:)
yep its very black and very long now!!!
i have always found with MSE that the more i put into it the more i want to put into it:D
i get really excited about the savings and chopping and changing my budget around:T very sad i know lol
what are your plans for the next ten weeks? how are you planning on getting that OD down?
JDNovember NSD's - 70 -
Corr now there's a question!
I just plan to be as careful as I can be with regards spending money over the coming couple of months and not withdraw any cash unless I really have to.
I don't have anything to sell really and am finding it hard to cut back any more than I have done so....I think I will be living very old style (will be having a nose around the OS boards believe me!) and also I have no social plans at all for January.
I already try to meal plan anyway and plan frugal (but healthy!) veggie meals but this definitely will be kept on top of!
If all goes to plan then I will be rid of my Tesco VISA with February pay day and then I can throw all that money at my overdraft...however by that time you will have finished the OD challenge by a mile I'm sure
But that's good for you - I really hope you smash the ten weeks!
If I can bank coppers & 5ps, or if I do manage to find anything to sell I really will, trust me...so keep an eye on the figure in my signature as it may come down a little..but it won't be a lot unfortunately.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
