  • Oh hon I can relate to that....you know it!

I feel like a greyhound behind the gate waiting to sprint off when it comes to clearing debt this year. Doesn't it feel sooooo good to have a light at the end of the tunnel?

    hi all:D

this morning i received my password for my new hisave account, have "pulled in" £1 from my current account, just to get me used to how it works am going to be using this as opposed to my ing account for annal savings towards bills and any extra savings i make:T

have registered for lloyds save the change so am busy putting together a spreadsheet so i can track all debit card transactions from the 1st feb to 31st march so i can maximise the cashback given by lloyds:D

have managed to rework budget after IR changed my tax credits amount also making sure i can still payback overdraft as planned by 18th feb. am really happy that it hasnt effected the date i had planned on paying it off.

have been using MSMoney as much as i can, to track spending and am updating spends daily so making sure no money gets frittered!!

have so far aquired £35.00 towards bronze olympic challenge:T i am sooo pleased about this as i intend on putting the final amount earned from the challenge towards my loan to pay that off early:D my estimated DFD stands at 3 JULY 2007:T:T:T:T (im happy cant you tell????):rotfl:

i am also laying the groundwork for my savings plans for July 07-Dec 07, i have so far worked out that i can save £2500 by christmas (this doesnt include interest earned):T:T i am planning on keeping this in my hisave account and dripfeeding to a regular saver, which will in turn fund my isa for the following tax year:D well thats the plan anyhow:D:rotfl: :rotfl:

plans for the next few weeks:

    - get the service/mot and extra work done on my car (approx £600  gulp!) any leftovers will go off the overdraft:D

    - continue with pigsback and quidco trying to make more money:)

    - list some more bits on ebay

    - increase money (see above two points) for bronze challenge:D

    - look out for more loopholes and ways to make extra cash:cool:

    - try and get my head round matched betting:rolleyes: maybe:rotfl:

well thats about it, am hoping to claw back some money from housekeeping to pay into overdraft but i live on a really tight budget as it is so that might not happen....

Awww I'm really sorry JD. Better to get your car all safe & sound though eh? I know it's disappointing though and frustrating when you get in a big bill like that but you & your family's safety comes first....

And hey, don't worry, you know I'll be around keeping you company, because there is no way mine will be paid off before April so....I'll stick the kettle on eh?
