Morning SnowyOwl:hello:
I'm at work again. I feel absolutely shattered this morning. Got another long day as I've got the whole weekend's work to prepare before leaving
Only get the one day off this weekend, as I'm working on Sunday, but I'd rather do stuff in advance
Hope everyone's ok.Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning Guys
Last night went really well and am very impressed with the schools training and recreational programs. They have changed the afternoon next week to a full day at the new school. So Tuesday is a full day tester for her:eek:  ...she'll be fine though!
Didnt sleep well as I had so much info going round in my head:rolleyes: Only have one appointment today at the hospital which is pretty local:D
Beds have been stripped and WM on and should be OK to hang outside. DW has also been emptied. Cleaner is here today so nothing else to do really.
OH bagged some bargains from the local Sainsburys (probably because BargainRzl is away;) and didnt nick them all:D) 5 packs of Taste the Difference Chicken Korma and rice-20p each, 5 chicken pies-10p, 5 Steak slices and 4 Ham and Mozarella slices-10p each, 4 litres of milk-5p each, rolls-5p a pack..all excess can be frozen:p
I have my essay to type up today and have someone coming from the local care trust to see how im getting on this afternoon:rolleyes:
Anyway got to go and have a bath.
Have a great day and hugs to all.

Morning Snowy Owl, Scuzz, PP and all to follow.
PP - glad it went well.
Am hoping for a better day today.
Will clear washing basket today & iron that and what I washed the other day - lots of ironing but at least it is so satisfying when its done. Need to do some essential business paperwork and go round the house with the hoover and a general tidy up. The general idea is that we are going to our holiday home tonight and the house will be lovely and tidy when we go.
Have got a nice weekend, family barbie tomm, then school fete on Sunday also the weather is meant to be good. Hopefully can relax and cheer myself up as work is definately very stressful at the moment.
Also need to work out and pack all the weekends food today.
Well off now just waiting for DD to come out of the shower then will put the wm on.
Have a great day and weekend.0 -
Morning snowy and scuzz and all others to follow
Well, I've been awake since 6, having finally been allowed to go to bed at 2. (Nels faded about 12, it has to be said!!) The head is fine thanks very much, but as I have to be able to cope with the demands of small boys and do the school run, I couldn't go OTT.
My living room floor is a mass of shopping bags, because I had to see everything they bought at Cheshire Oaks (whilst drinking bubbly, natch) Ooooh, they did have a good (and very MSE) time. We also had a very nice HM curry night too
Today, after the school run, it's off to Boundary Mill (it's a huge factory shop type place) to see how much money we can part with (all budgetted for, of course!!) Then after we have collected the boys and done their tea, we are off out to a local establishment for some good pub grub. My neighbour is babysitting as Mr TM doesn't know what time he'll get back.
Right, BM is on (quick bake, will be out before we go shopping) DW will go on after brekkie, and I must remember to water my strawbs before I go out.
Oh, and I ventured as far as Makro yesterday and have bought a garden bench (like yours LTS) and another vacuum cleaner (1/2 price) I needed a bagless one for when I clean up after the gerbils and also for doing just a quick whip round. Got a couple of 5L bottles of vinegar too.
Ok, I'm of for a shower and hair wash, then I must make the lunchboxes up. Rzl and Nels will be along later to update you on the current bag/shoe/garments status.
Have a good day everyone :j:j

ps morning PP and Essex-girl.... cross posted0 -
I wonder if Nels and Rzl will sound as chirpy as you TM - I would barely be able to drink a cup of tea after staying up that late and getting up at this time!0

You can laugh ..... she sat in my living room last night and said "I bet PP's OH gets LOOOOOOOADS of bargains whilst I'm away.... probably because I'm not there, actually" :rotfl:0 -
Good morning everyone,
Looking a lovely day here today, so planning on taking the little ones to the park this morning, once i have dropped DS and DD off at school!!! Also promised them (i have 3 littlies here today) that we would do some baking, so im tempted to make that weetabix cake, although im planning on leaving the fruit out, as i cant stand fruit cake, so it might be a bit of a disaster!!!
I havnt done much, housework wise this week, as it was clean and tidy from us not being here, so i really need to pull my finger out and get some done today. Also need to put the BM on, for some pizza dough for our dinner tonight.
Well, thats the plan for today, i wonder how much of it i will get done  ????
Hope everyone has a lovely day (especially Metherer, hope today goes wonderfully)
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Hello to everyone
I've posted a couple of times on this board a few weeks ago but since then I've just been lurking and seeing what you're all up to. Felt too much like a stalker so had to join in today!! It's a lovely little community feeling on here.
My plan for today is to enjoy my day off. The weather is due to be hot all weekend and if I do all the chores today, with a little treat or two along the way, I'll have the whole weekend to enjoy it.
Hope everyone else has a great day, doesn't everything seem so much better when the sun shines?
xx:hello:0 -
Morning all :j
Haven't posted for a while - but have been lurking
I have a day off work today :j it's a school inset day so in true money saving style I'm using my holiday instead of paying a childminder
Have just taken advantage of M&S 3 for 2 on schoolwear and free delivery, and bought DD 2 pairs of trouser, 2 skirts and a winter coat for £40!! I'm impressed as all that's left on the "to buy" list for school now is a jumper for PE, a pair of shorts, a pair of trainers and a pair of shoes - which I'll split between the next 2 months so it won't hurt so much
Have to pop into town and buy FIL's b'day pressie (he wants boots vouchers - normally we'd spend £40, but we're cutting him down to £30) Thinking of maybe getting my hair cut today (we have a cutting shop where you have to wait your turn but it only costs £11) At the moment it's long (middle of my back) but I'm thinking of having a swishy bob
Anyway lot's of housework to do today (as my DD kindly put it "it looks like New Orleans in here mummy" :rotfl: :rotfl:   :rotfl: :rotfl:
Have a great day everyoneSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
