Prudent - wish i was working at your school. I could do with finishing now.

I'm on the run today as i've got to do lots of printing before work, and then mark as much as i can, and still fit in 6 work experience visits. (couldn't get in touch with any of them by phone so will just have to turn up with fingers crossed and hope for the best.

    Have a lovely wedding metherer.

PP - hope the hospital visit isn't too traumatic.

Have a nice day everyone else.

    See you later,
    Michelle, xx

Had a very strange e mail from Amazon yesterday, saying that an item im selling has been paid for, but they wont end the listing or release the money to me until ive posted it and emailed them the 'tracking number' . Im thinking this sounds very suspect, so im trying to find who to contact at Amazon to check if this is correct, the post address to send the item to is Nigeria, so im thinking some sort of fraud:eek: !!!!!
Have my best friend coming over tonight with her children for dinner, im doing pork in a spare rib sauce, MATHs sticky honey sausages (ive not tried them before, even tho ive had the recipe for ages now!!!) new potatoes and salad, havnt decided what dessert will be, but in duty free i bought a bottle of raspberry infused Bacardi, so we might not care if we have pud or not!!!!
Right, first of 2 little ones here, so off to play with the new Dora toys that have proved very popular this week!!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all,

congratulations to metherer and twinks DD1.

All is back to normal in the house of moggins :D I'm sat at the computer moaning at DD to finish her breakfast (nothing new there) and DS has gone off to school wearing jeans, t-shirt and a hoody. He's intent on enjoying the rest of his enjoy themselves week :D

I have loads to do to catch up before taking my parents shopping tomorrow, then DD has a dentist appointment, she has a cavity! I don't know what more I can do, I know the dentist won't believe me but she has sweets only twice a week, no fizzy drinks, plenty of calcium in her diet and brushes her teeth twice a day, I think I'm doing all I can do, she only has well watered down squash in the day and water as a bedtime drink. I hate dentists and I'm so worried I am going to pass my fear on to her :(

I have to swish and swipe the bathroom and toilet, hoover through and tidy DD's room which didn't get done because I was sick. I also want to plant some more seeds today, it's going to be a long one :(

    Morning all.

Beautiful & sunshining here in sarfend!

DW emptied. Need to hang a load out on the line. Came on here instead ;)

Lots to do today, 3 bedrooms need a good tidy & vacuum.

Also got to go to the childminders. DS stays with her for the 1st time tomorrow. Also DS has story time at his school that he goes to in September at 2.30 this afternoon.

    B, cereal

lunch, peanut butter sarnie & fruit salad

dinner flat breads with salads (& chicken for the meat eaters!) DH has left over chilli.

Before I came on this site I would never have gone thru my fridge/cupbaords to bee what is approching its use by date. Now I do, hence having the flat breads for dinner.

Also a top of DS's still has pasta sauce stains on it yesterday when it came out of the washing machine. Back in the days of old I would have chucked it. I put it on the line in the sun & its been 'bleached' now, no signs of the stains!

    Morning all,

COngrats and best wishes to Metherer and Twinks DD. Good luck at the hosp and parents evening PP. And glad you are back adn fighting fit Moggins!

Can't believe the number of posts by this time of the morning (or is that cos I'm still quite new?!)

Re-using Plastic bottlesDoes anyone know about re-using plastic bottles. Someone sent me an email about re-using them saying that they can become toxic/carcinogenic? I re-use a water bottle to swig my tea out of on the way to work (hours journey, set off early, no breakfast s o really look forward to that swig of tea). But now it appears I may be damaging my health  Or is it all a scam by the plastic bottle manufacturers to get us to buy more??

Last day at w**k today before a week in GReece!! So must get home and 'Fly' around the house to make sure it is a haven to come back to!!

Have a lovely OS day everyone

Kazonline congrats to your DS too and to twink for your DD!
Good luck with the parents evening PP, and the painting ronankfan and the amazon thing catowen
hugs to ageandjoe and to anyone else who needs one!

Phew! Well, I'm on strike. OH is really ticking me off for various reasons and has now refused to cook for me any more (just because I made my own dinner last night since he went out without a word and I had no idea where he was). So, I'm not doing anything. He's always moaning that I don't do enough round the house (despite the fact that I do everything BUT the cooking) and he's always moaning that I can't cook (not MY fault he's a fussy chef....did anyone see Gordon Ramsey last night? He's like that). ARGH! I could kick him!

Anyways (deep breath) today is going to be a w*rk day. If he wants the housework done, he can do it!

I've got a lot of weeding to do outside so I'll get on with that when I finish w*rk.

    Have a good day everyone!

    :T Congratualations metherer :T

Weather here is fantastic so am off to tidy round then can get the kids in the garden to play. Would let the toddler out now but he can get over the garden fnce and he aint even 2 yet  .

Breakfast: Toast and jam with Coffee
    Lunch: Leftover carbonara.
Dinner: HM Chicken Nuggets and chips and salad.

Still need to get tidying upstairs but hard with the kiddies and OH being at work.

Still happy about my win and getting a free holiday to Pontins. An hour after winning that got a call to say we had won another holiday from a survey I did. Turn out its timeshare but the idea is we spread the word rather than buy. Anyway cant take kids under 7 so not good for us.

Well off to enjoy the sun.;)
