What will you do when finally Debt free

I'm going to carry on living within my means (only been doing that every month since we decided to clear the debt) and saving. Will have £x for a holiday and will find a holiday to fit that budget etc.
For me the peace of mind knowing that I can actually afford the things we buy means more than an expensive holiday (which we used to aim for).“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Save, save, save for me and just live within my means

You don't need to be debt free to learn another language! I've just started an evening class in Italian, although I don't know how much it'd cost as I'm on benefits and got it for free.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

We're going to SAVE for a bigger house. Me, hubby and two kids under 5 live in a 2 bedroom house. We live in London and even though we bought this house over 10 years ago and have lots of equity, house prices are still too expensive for us to move up the ladder (even with a joint income of £65k)... pure madness!!Friend Debt: 5,000/3,850

when we hit our DFD next year we are planning to keep 3 months of living money in the bank, then save to go a wondering...we dont see the point of saving thousands for tomorrow life is to be enjoyed (within reason) while you can0

Oh, I really like that idea, you must be young:D as I find I would of love to do this, but truly now at my age, retirement seems to be coming closer and closer and I really don't want to not be able to keep a comfortable standard of living. But I would love your idea, if I had a lot more courage. Enjoy your DF next year!

Proud to be dealing with my debts

I'm going to start saving AND have a lovely holiday ... not sure where yet!
I currently pay over £700 each month into my DMP so I'm looking forward to being able to save a substantial chunk of that.
I've no intention of getting myself into a right old financial mess again! No more spending for the sake of it - and I'll continue hunting out bargains and the best deals!Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.

I'll answer the telephone without 'that feeling' in my tummy beause I know it won't be someone ringing for money.0

Oh, I like to daydream too!
I would like to travel more. I would like to visit friends and family that are far away more often.
And I would like to be able to upgrade my flat for a little house in the country. And have some savings so that I can maybe have a baby
And be able for OH to take a paycut to do a job he really cares about rather than being a slave to the debt in a well paid boring job.
And be relaxed and not in a constant state of high stress over paying things off!0 -
I don't like my house. The road outside is really busy. I would like a modest sized home somewhere quiet, so my cats can finally go outdoors and I don't have to worry about my children crossing the road. I wonder if such a place exists...
Currently, the debt prevents us from doing anything.
I am going to enjoy the freedom, and try my hardest for it never to happen again.0
