OberonSH's DFW Diary Thread - 1 Woman, 1 Toddler & A Whole Lotta Debt!

Not sure if I want to start posting after reading all that rubbish!!! Gee, what a lot of hate someone's carrying around. Ysabell was very nice to me when she popped in, as I recall, but I haven't got the time to waste on people like that. I've sent her a PM saying if she's that dead against me, maybe she should stop away from my thread.

Few points however - I didn't 'do a runner' - I closed a shop and lost a helluva lot of money on it, I might add, becasue I wanted a healthier, happier life rather than deal with nasty women who have no manners and want everything for nothing Scunthopre has lost a wool shop, but that just means you guys can carry on buying the cheap nasty wool from Wilkos which you were doing anyway. I have changed my name - marriage does that to you. Also puts a Mrs on the front, funny that. Ebay account was closed thanks to my ex's account, and so it had a knock on effect on mine. I'd really love to know why on earth Ysabell bothered raking this stuff up - you'd think getting out of debt was more important than stalking someone.

Oh, and I have only met Ysabell once in person, chatted for about 2 minutes, and have no idea what her problem is, as basically I don't know her. Maybe she's just someone who likes to put the boot in. Maybe she was having a bad day the day she wrote all that rubbish. Don't know, don't really care.

Yes, I have closed my shop - thanks to people like her I just found it too much to carry on with it. I wanted to stock better quality wools, but unfortunately the people in the area decided they'd rather have cheap, cheaper and cheapest. Then I found out about baby Ash (it's going to be a boy btw!!) and I just didn't want to have to get up, deal with horrible people who obviously don't like me, run to the bathroom every 2 minutes and have a long trek home. I decided to get rid of the stock over Ebay (would LOVE to know how Ysabell knows so many 'facts' about that - reckon I've got a stalker there) and am actually doing pretty well. FIL offered the money, but considering they're planning on knocking down the market, I told him no, after a long hard think, and decided on this course of action. So now I'm happier, healthier and with a back bedroom full of stuff.....

So I'm afraid there's not much misfortune to laugh about. Natuarally, if Ysabell would like to put up her own finacial situation, we can all have a good chuckle about that, and see how it feels to her. But you guys know I'm not like that. I'd rather see someone getting out of a mess, than put up nasty stuff about them. So hey ho, I'm devoting my energy to getting everything sorted, rather than worrying about what some middle aged broad thinks.

Um, not sure what else there is to tell - seeing those hatefilled posts kinda shocked it all out of me!! Still planning on moving to Florida, wanting to get the last bits of the shop tied up before starting anything else. I managed to get a few bits and bobs paid off, and am now looking at around 10k of debt, which isn't bad going! Had a nasty time wih every one's favourite bailiff company recently (rossendales) - I got a surprise visit from a guy with a van - I'd been happily making my payments so was a bit strange. Luckily they did though, as it turned out their figure didn't match mine at all!! So I tried to get the full breakdown from them, without success and now have had to get a solicitor involved to try and sort it out. By the 'breakdown' they sent (and by that I mean a typed letter that had half the payments I have proof of missing), I actually dont owe them anything at all, which made them even more upset, cos I thought I still had £100 to pay! Anyone else thinking shooting and foot?

So thats me just about up to date. I'm quite hefty at the moment, currently 27 weeks gone, just got powerseller status on my ebay account thanks to the amount of stuff I'm selling. We're just about to buy a house, which is great, as I've had a helluva time with this landlord - mould, rising damp etc, and I didn't want to rent again.

I'm hoping all my mates are still here, but only because they got out of debt and are hanging around for the ambience!!

Hooray, you're back! I always loved reading your updates. Good news that you've got some debts paid off - best of luck with the next 10k.

I have no idea chev - I only met her for 2 minutes, and I really do not know why she found my life interesting enough to gather so much 'info'. Scary. Especially the laughing at others misfortune bit - stones & glass houses spring to mind.

Still, no point wasting time on it - I've sent her a PM asking her to stop away, as I have no idea why I've offended her so much. Enough hate in the world without adding to it, right??

I'm trying to get caught up with everyone - a great big well done to Ali - what else have I missed whilst losing a fortune on a business, getting preggers and gaining a stalker?

Exactly! Postive thinking works wonders (it does.....doesn't it?) and you will get rid of that last bit of debt before you know it!

She's right though Obi - you ARE living in a fantasy. As are most of us on here. Personally, I just posted I was debt free to amuse the little people on here. I'm actually on my yacht, cruising the Caribbean, snapping up some shares in Northern Rock and cracking open another bottle of champagne.
