Thanks Pobby, that was the site I was checking, but missed the advanced search thingy.
Well chickees, pants day in the shop (but overall a good week thanks to a cracking start) Got a load of ebay stuff off in the post - oooh, smiling evilly whilst handing over more of his skulls to the nice post office lady.
Now I know I'm going to get laughed at/smacked hands/reported to The Ultimate Moneysaver for being a stoopid person, but got a mailshot through with the last issue of my comping mag. It was the usual lots of small paragraphs, changes in font type thing, but basically was flogging subscriptions to an Ebay magazine, and promises to help you get to earning £1k a week within the 3 month trial period. So I signed up, as I do sell quite a bit over ebay atm, and besides, under the offer I can cancel at any time and get a full refund, so I won;t be losing anything. I checked out the ebay member who was apparently behind it, and she is there, doing very well as I can tell. So I'll let you know if I become an Ebay Millionaire, and I'll buy you all a drink if I do.
On the downside of today, DD lost Bear. Bear is very very important, and as I type I can hear a little voice going 'aaaah ahhhha AHAHAHAHHHAAAAA mumumumumum'. She dropped Bear out of the pram, and I'm hoping it was whilst we were still in the shop, othrewise I won;t be sleeping. Ever. She doesn't settle well without him, so this is major, but I haven't got the energy for the hour round trip to go back to work on the offchance he's there. I can see me on Monday putting up 'Have you seen this Bear?' posters.
It's blooming warm, and now I'm going to get some more stuff photgraphed to get onto ebay, and then get the accounts up to date. Hope you all had a very cheap day.
Obi xxThis year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hi Obi
Some craft things in your 'potential' new shop could be profitable as there does not seem to be many craft shops around Lincolnshire and I for one prefer to see things and ask advise which you cannot get form mail order.
I would love to try new craft things like card making but find all a bit scary from the vast range in catalogues.
I have only been to Grimsby once to collect a bargin pine dresser (£29.00) bought on ebay, but people seemed friendly. I am near Sleaford so a bit further south, the shock of moving this far north prevented me venturing any further towards the North Pole!!

Maybe Bear has gone on his travels a la Paddington.
He might turn up in deepest darkest Peru with some sandwiches?
Hope he comes home soon. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Best place in Grimsby is Ann's cafe, just outside the football ground. Being a Forest fan we were hoping Grimsby got promoted so we could have another trip to Grimsby for one of Ann's breakfasts!0

yup chickies, I'm all raring to go. Earning over £300 this month from just rubbish on Ebay has really pleased me. Got an email back from teh woman who writes the magazine, and she seems a bit upset because 'no-one ever tries' the things she suggests. Bit daft if you pay for a subscription then ignore the advice but still....Imagine though, if it does live up to it's promises then I'll be personally debt free in a year or less, and totally debt free in 2!!! That's a happy thought. I'm under no illusions that I can just sit back and watch people chuck money at me, but if I get enough pointers to help me sell more stuff and at a higher price then I'll be a happy lady.
I certainly won't be able to replace Bear - he's even got that Authentic Crust you only get on toys that have been loved, cuddled, dragged along the ground, played with in the garden and been subjected to the wonderful range of bodily fluid that only a small child can produce in such quantity. I have put DD to bed with Misc. Soft Toy and she seems happy enough. Plus she's just in a nappy cos it's so warm here.
I see that there's yet ANOTHER 'celebs doing stuff' program. We've seen them sing, dance and get stuck in a jungle with Ant & Dec. Now we can see them ride horses. Where's the program where they get to run a household, or juggle a budget? Come on BBC, I want to see Jeremy Paxman trying to make it as a car mechanic, and The Queen changing a nappy. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
