Hey all,
I did resist the chinese, and had toasties, they were lovely.
Mrs A. - Everyone says that, until they realise it means dealing with nasty, !!!!!y, off-their-meds old women. I haven't picked up my knitting or cross stitch in months. Then again, I'm in debt, and if everything was running smoothly it wouldn';t be a problem I suppose.
Mort - too right - If you're a real live beat bobby then if you ever get 603's duty (i.e. parading up and down town getting called up to Maccy D's every 2 mins to deal with chavs) then I'm betting you know all about Mr Adams and his rather enthusiastic bunch of boys. We get all the repairs on theit body armour, and those lads don't half put that kevlar through it's paces. They're lovely lads, and I'm glad they're so zealous, but I can't see Scott wanting Bear duty over being able to jump on various stinky shoplifters. He does love it so, bless.
Well chickies, today was a real humdinger. Nothing bad happened, really, in fact seeing a I had a couple spend nearly £70 on my sale stuff I guess I should be rather pleased. It was DD's first day back with me after nursery, and I'm not kidding you if I wasn't her mother i'd strangle her. She's currently in her cot paddying. She touched stuff she knows she's not supposed to, and was generally a nightmare. Plus I'm feeling 7 months of 6 day a week, 16 hour days so was not in the mood for it. Got a letter from Satan's Best Buddies (VAT office) telling me that they've reviewed my complaint about The World's Thinckest Bailiff and and basically as I've been late paying my VAT before it's tough luck, they're siding with the bailiff, who claims to have been very polite and not at all rude. Still, they get the outstanding balance (plus whatever they now owe me for this period) and then I'm deregistering. Should have happened by now, but sneaky B*stards mucked me about and got another period over with. They won't let you deregister still owing, so Im stuck with the next payment too.
Mentioned the brilliant sale, then I got some mad old cow who asked if I was closing down (next person who asks that gets a slap), and when told no, then said 'oh, well the shop just gives the impression of closing down'. I was so tempted to take her face off for that. I just looked at her and said 'didn't realise I looked that low stocked. We're having a clearout, that's all'. Still, she mentioned the place looked different, and seeing as we had a refit over a year ago, I'm not that fussed about losing her custom.
Got myself a nice bottle of wine tonight, and actually bought a lottery ticket tonight! Will let you all know when I win. Going to spend the evening doing a mega-list for ebay, then paint some models before tomorrow and have an earlyish night, I'm pooped!
DFW I have to admit to not only falling off the wagon this week, but rolling several times and ending up a broken bloody mess on the trail (hope that wasn't too graphic) - not only have I not done my spending diary, I also went out and spent £70 on a friends b'day meal last night (inc childminder) and have been getting bus too and from work, buying lunches and everyhing else except going on a designer label splurge. I am a bad bad lady, and from tomorrow will try to do better. I'm still waiting for benifts to tell me if I'm getting help with rent and rates, If not I'm screwed! I'd have to take £300 a week from shop, and that's impossible as it's trying to pay it's own debts atm. Sigh, and my budget looked so nice on paper.....
Well chicks, hope you all had a cheap, and lovely day - happy thoughts to Dotty as she has her appt tomorrow - we're all behind you chick, and love to the rest of you. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

No its been a while since i put a uniform on a mack and hat thesedays, however thats all going to have to change since i gambled all my money away and got in the poo, thank god for overtime.
Have to take a packup to work too ! and i keep finding this green stuff in it, the wife says its called, now what is it some kind of foreign sounding name er salad thats it !
Can we start a credit cards should not be allowed to be used on online gaming sites thread? ho hum
Has bear returned or do you think its a tiger kidnap ?
Mort ( of the bulging its been a bloody long time since i wore one uniform)0 -
Afternoon chickees,
There is no sign of Bear. Sick of being subjected to the abuse all soft toys go through at the hands of toddlers, he's run away to head up the local council. At least I hope so, cos he'd do a better job.
Absolutely rubbish day at the shop, but DD was a good girl at nursery and hence got a cream donut on the way back to catch the bus. If ever you are depressed, upset and generally p*ssed off about your life, give a small child something messy and sticky to eat. Just watching her getting cream everywhere, not particularly caring and grinning like a loony through lemon frosting made me laugh like a mad person. Course, she's currently paddying in her cot as it's bedtime and Bear is absent (probably at a town planning meeting).
Overspent by huge amounts recently, but am getting my mental state readjusted back to 'Insane £2 coin collecting money saving maniac' mode, got a load of brochures of Florida today to spur me on. Having a mass ebay tonight, and I mean MASS. Talking 200 items or so, just going to get it all listed and then hire a dump truck to take it all to the post office. Got so much to get through, have been doing it in dribs and drabs. Just going to get it all on there and as my Ebay selling info pack thingy came today am going to settle down with an ovaltine and read it, makig notes etc. I'll let you know how I get on, but it actually looks impressive (for something offered in a mailshot along with 'I can make you a millionaire using only the power of my mind' and krud selling betting systems)
I hope you all had cheap days, are all fired up for another month of money saving, and are taking healthy packups to work like Mort. Though not necessarily dressing up as coppers, cos I think there's a law against that. Dressing up, not taking salad as a packup. Pop into my store lunchtime mate, you can share my horribly unhealthy cheese and lard sandwiches. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Well there should bloody well be a law against taking salad to work i mean have you seen it? its all green and just sits there in your box laughing at you. Obeone thanks for the offer of a sarnie but if i were seen going in a wool shop by my so called friends i would never live it down, and you may think i was stalking you.
Let me know how the e.bay stuff goes, i have a boat load i could do but i loose interest when after paying for postage and postage materials i make the grand sum of 3p. I have a lovely queens jubilee medal but the wife wont let me e.bay it !
No sign of bear sadly, however i dont think he can be running the council more likely to be sitting in the higher offices at our place !
Having fun with my DMP with Payplan i think by the time i pay it off i will be 104. MBNA (BLESS) rang me the other day to see if i could make a payment, threaten me with court and ask if my circumstances had changes how i laughed i thought my pants would never dry.0 -

Hello chickies, here's today's edition of the MSE Times....
Good day in the shop, getting busier. Must be something to do with me threatening the old ladies with creeping into their houses at night and stealing their cats........
Had a letter of my number one supplier telling me they can't extend my credit any more, and I have to pay them £500 by 20th, doable, but I feel really bad cos these guys have been really really good with me, and I hate owing them (so much) money. DD was very good, and that always makes my life easier!
Got a lovely surprise last night when LB urned up unannouced - very unusual, and made me very happy. We also discussed plans to emmigrate, and so that has spurred me on to get back on track. I had my last mad spend day today (bottle of wine, cheese (mmmmm, cheese) and frivolous things for dinner) before next week's no spend regime. No bus, cutting child minder to once every 2 weeks, get my bank charges back, deposit and rent owed by a previous business tenant bac, and generally start being a hard !!! and getting everything I'm owed. Although a friend does owe me £50 and I'm not sure the best way to get it back. I'm going to ask politely when I'mn getting it back, but being firm and letting her know it's not a freebie, I do need it back fairly soon! Always tricky asking mates to give you money back.
A big well done to Dotty, you rock girl. Claps to Dotty, everyone, she's getting sorted. And claps to you guys. We're all here cos we realise we can't go on living like everyone else - owing huge companies lots of money and not being able to be happy. We all rock for just turning up here. Give yourselves a clap. You lurkers out there - you may not contribute but I'm guessing you've changed the way you live. The regualr posters, you keep us all going. You'll all get mentions in THE BOOK!!!
Love, Obi.
PS did anyone else cry at Dr Who tonight, or was it just me? Okay, I'm sad and I'll go away now. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
