Sorry but I don't think it's really Obi... I think it's actually the monkeys who have abducted her and finally learnt to type!

No, tis I, you great Danish pastry. No monkeys here [smear of banana]. Nothing even resembling an ape [hoot hoot gibber gibber fleapick] what's a monkey [fling poop & show naughty bits to crowds of schoolchiildren on trips]

It is me, it's just manic with the lappy dying, redesign of site for 17 millionth time, helping hubby set up own compnay and signing up for Business degree with OU. Yes. I am that bonkers.

Hows you? How gigantic are you? Have you started waddling yet?

Snags - running. Running is a good thing, if you're being chased by a pack of rabid taxmen, or if you've spotted a precious £2 coin (mmm £2 coins...) but for fun??!! Nope. Not getting it.

So guys, what have I missed?
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Some good ideas Snags - I gues I'm just a bit 'debted out' right now. Give it a few months and I'll be okay. Planning on starting to put away for the biggie - they've already told me they'll take a lump sum, be around £12k right now, so gonna carry on making my repayments, then once the debts down a bit, the savings are up a bit we should be able tocome to a common figure. Just such a big number it's kinda 'OMG it'll be there forever....'

Think if I win the lottery I'll get £19k in pennies and hire a dump truck to shove them on the Ex 's head, before taking them to Regal Credit's offices.

  • What a good idea about the pennies..would you like us to help you collect? I personally find the couch very inspiring for getting pennies out of.

Nice to see you back by the way even if you are bit down, it will soon be back to £2 coin chasing and everything else. I think some of it could be down to the sheer amount you have done the past couple of years and the on top of that babies and wedding. You are allowed a break, give yourself time to regroup and come back !!! kicking. x

Always the £2 coin chasing. Hubby tried to hide one from me the other day. Stupid boy....There were spoons that day, I tell thee.....they are now safely hidden from hubby in a special place. They're for the holiday next year.

Cheers Bob, just being a bit mopey today. Without snowballing the 2 I have left, I'm looking at finishing the Barclays Biggy the year I retire.......OMG I'm going to cry.....think £2 coins, think £2 coins......

Who you calling gigantic you monkey! :P

I'm good - been very hectic recently - mix of lots of stuff... Nan passed away just before christmas and yesterday grandad got rushed in... dad says he's just given up now nan is gone so no doubt things will go quickly :(
Then the shower leaked - cue water through ceiling in living room, the fridgefreezer looks like it needs replacing and the dishwasher packed up.
Eventually resealed the whole shower inclusing bits that shouldn't be which seems to have fixed it - now just have to fix ceiling downstairs, the dishwasher was fixed today (£39 - that man is going on my christmas card list!!!) and the fridge freezer MIGHT be fixable but I have stopped caring lol!
Work finally coughed up my referral fee for someone I nicked from a customer of ours lol and then the nasty tax man decided that I should be taxed on it at a higher rate because if I got that amount every month I go into the next tax bracket... shame it's a one off and eventually they will have to give me some of that back!!! GRRRR barstewards!

Other than that we're good - hormones are being a !!!!!! but Roo is kicking like a good one! Last night DH managed to feel her for about 15 minutes having a real good session. Normally she goes shy if he tries to feel her :)

ah, so we know it's a girl do we? I must have address for the sending of cards and suchlike.

Just think of the tax thing as a form of saving...that you don;t get interest on....saying that I found out today our ISA is only 1.6% so it's not far off nothing...:(

Sorry to hear about family passing. My grandma gets bad around xmas, when grandad went.

Good going on the fixing of the household stuff. Could have saved yourself £39 and told hubby the washing up is his new treat.

lol, thanks. I tried to keep it quiet, as I'm nearly 30 (sob) but family found out, and his mother showered me with new pans and a lethally sharp knife set (as hubby has already discovered. He's only allowed spoons and baby knives now). I did get a wii from hubby, as a gift to us all. My 4 year old rocks at bowling....
