Oh well girls..get your own back and come on MSE 24/7. My son in law is always on warcraft and now his mate is moving in as well so i reckon she will be bored witless with them both yabbing on about their characters.
I am doing my beginning of the month round up wondering if i melt a few more coins down if they will stretch a bit further..i wish!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Evening chicks,
Right, I am officially hacked off. Fed up. Homicidal.
I am a normal person (well, unless you count the £2 coin thing, and hardly anyone on here does) and thus I don't know the first thing about web programming. A CGI bin is a place to put your CGI's when they're broken, and a perl is something your mum has on a necklace, and someone missed out the a.
8 months after beginning the rebuild of my site, I am ready to show it off to the world. However, I am stopped by the freaks who designed the Internet deciding that no-one else shall be allowed access to this wonder, and therefore make absolutely nothing simple. The host doesn't seem to support the program that runs the shop, or if it does then I chose the wrng sort of server. It asks me for files that don;t exist, and passwords that I have no idea on. So I have posted a 'OMG I'm ging to kill someone if I don't get this site up and running NOW' post on the e-commerce programs website, and shall now go to bed and curse Bill Gates. For no other reason that he's the father of all geeks, and therefore probably spawned the disgusting little nurgling that's stopping me selling teabags to the Americans right now.
But on the up side the budget is working really well, I brke my target for last month with a sneaky, last minute transfer of 'left over' cash from last month, and things are looking pretty rosy. My best mate wants her lip piercing, so am trying to talk her out of it - don't get me wrong, looks good on some people, but she wants it at the side of her mouth, and I always think it looks like a bit of stray food. Don't think I'll be able to look at it without wanting to spit on my hanky.
DD has come home with what I am reliably informed are nits. Little white things clinging to her hair, no wriggling beasties thank goodness. So Daddy got the task of marching down to Asda for 'nit stuff' - came back with what appears to be regular conditioner and a nit comb, but she's gone to bed stinking of tea tree oil and happy that 'Daddy got the stuff to kill my bugs'. Niiiiccce. Apparently it's going round at nursery. Great. Makes me itch just thinking about it.
So I'm going to bed now, and will lay my Lush Each Peach massage bar strategically across DH's pillow. And possibly a note saying 'rub my neck or I'll get all crazy'. Just in case.
Todays tip - if you insist on runnng some madcap e-commerce enterprise save up enough money and buy yourself a geek to do the techy bits. Pay him in Buffy posters and doughnuts. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Aww Bob passes over massage oil and geek grenades..Hope it works out soon.
RE nits, keep combing every day with tea tree oil and if you are feeling in a vicious mood ..squash a few! very satisfying!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ooooh that's disgusting. There's no wriggly things there - urgh, would have to hose down the child if there was. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Sounds like they may have been *got* in time then!
Teacher's hazard..nits! And i have very curly hair, so i am always on the lookout for the blighters..especially worse after summer holidays. Makes mental note ...not to go into schools for a couple of weeks until nit hazard passed.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Morning chickees,
Well, first 'proper' week of strict budget has gone well - some quick transferring around needed, but only because the bank didn;t know what day of the week it was, sent out the DD's early and so I didn;t get the 'extra' money transferred out. 'Backward engineered' what should have been in there, and put that into the ISA.
But the big news is that my site is up, thanks to Mrs T's recommended hosting people sorting me out in super-quick time. And it only needed a minor tweak once uploaded. I'm really proud of myself, so now just need a shedload of advertising. Go a tasty Gantt chart sorted, and to celebrate the culmination of this mammoth task I am going to treat myself to......
a cup of tea, and half an hour of Maury 'trash TV' Povich.
Yup, no shopping sprees for me, no sirree. I also changed my energy supplier (therefore netting myself £60 via quidco, plus cheaper energy than I currently get) and changed the Child benefit to go int my Direct Debit account.
And, I also just applied for the part time job going at Games Workshop - where hubby works hehehe. I have no hope of getting it - I'm a woman and despite having an 'equal opportunity' policy they never employ women, but thought I'd show willing. I think it might be an idea just to gett me out and about, and get back into a team work situation - working for yourself is very lonely. But like I said, I've 2 hopes - no hope and Bob Hope, and Bob Hope's dead. I told his manager I didn;t do it for a joke, but I'll let you know how it goes.....:)
So overall, an excellent day for me. I'm chuffed to little mint balls, and have gained cashback worth basically a month's free energy. Not a bad morning's work!
Today's tip - never ever EVER buy anything online without checking cashback first. Why not get paid for something you were going to buy anyway?
Oh, and its 5p listing day on Ebay - sort some junk. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
