Bob - due mid may - one week after our wedding anniversary to be exact :rotfl: just hope Bean isn't early I'd really perfer if it doesn't arrive on my wedding anniversary or a day either side or the next 21 years I'll be having to celebrate my wedding anniversary when it "fits" in LOL
Obi - yes Mr T has banned all rare steaks and anything vaguely interestingThankfully (?) I've been so ill with morning/noon/night sickness that I haven't fancied anything interesting either so not a great loss to me
Went to bonfire and fireworks last night which was damp but still pretty - few of the "big" ones wouldn't light up which was a shame but it WAS hoofing it down with water...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I'd put you onto ginger biscuits - only thing that got me through the sickness I had with DD, but I also ended up 3 sizes bigger. So use sensibly.
It was chucking it down here as well. Didn't put the chavs off from letting them off in the street though. Little menaces.
Have shot off an email to the lawyer we've had a consultation with, had a few questions, so hopefully will get them resolved today. The main question being what constitutes 'a business' in the States. We want to set up over there bringing some lovely stuff back here, but obviously without visa we can't run it ourselves. We're not at the point of employing someone over there, so can we get away with an office in a business centre and a mail forward service? Our suppliers in the States won't deal with us until we have an address int eh US, and we've found a company to bring it across, so just need to know if this qualifies. Of curse, if there's any Bar-approved Attorneys out there that kno the answer, feel free to put me out my misery!
On the money front, things are going well. We're Amazoning and Ebidding like its going out of fashion - we want to pay off hismum's catalogue for her, as a lot of it is stuff she got for the kids. Our own debts are at that comfortably ticking over stage, and there's no interest on any of them, so I'm not going to worry about overpaying at the moment. I am trying to find out about getting my charges back from Rossendales - they shoved £200 on the the one I'm paying off for the pleasure of ONE visit. Apparently they went to the wrong address several times, but still charged me for it. PLus a 'van fee' when I'd been saying all along - prove this is mine and I'll pay it. Which I am. So int he light of the latest fiasco I think I'll give it a shot. That will wipe off that one.
Christmas is getting sorted - making a lot of the presents this year. Home made toffee, truffles etc, and have turned out all my freebies gleaned from the Freebie board into little hampers for other people. The kids have been got for, just got to work out what to get for DH.
So I'm off to check my Ebid auctions, try to work out why Actinic is not doing what I want it to do, and take DD to a kids party later on. Hopefully her brother will not barf all over the place, he's got a dicky tummy at the moment.
Tip for today - when vaccuming, don't forget to do the back of the sofa and the chairs. Run a barely damp cloth over them and you'll be amazed/disgusted at what comes off. Turn the cushions every few months as well. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
Current Pay Off Target : £1500 :mad:0 -
Ginger biscuits are having no effect - I ended up in hospital for 2 days on a drip at around 6 weeks after getting dehydrated and they stuck me on cyclizine to control the vomiting which it has - still throw up and get bad nausea but it's managable... ish. I'd hate to think what I'd be like without the cyclizine though!!
Guess I should go get dressed and heave the hubby out of bed - he's still sleeping as he's jetlagged from returning from Canada yesterday morning bless him...
MAYBE I'll even manage to stick some junk on ebid/ebay depending on my mood lolDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

oohhh, brings back memories of my DD - I too ended up in hospital on a drip.
Tip for today: Being passed out on the loo is SO not a good look.
I survived on beef hula hops - can't look at them now :rolleyes:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

LOL just had a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich - not ideal but had to eat something...
DH has been working since I woke him up bless him - major outage on one of his clients sites and it's all going bums up at the moment so he's working hard. Told him to get it done today because tomorrow morning there will be NO excuses for not making it to our ultra sound appointment in the morning - I would actually consider divorcing him if he didn't make it...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! LOL thanks Bob...
Just had a bowl of red lentil soup (red lentil, carrot, tomato and onion with some stock - it's rather yummy) so hoping that will settle it all down a bit for tonight - scan is 9am tomorrow so it's an early start to miss the traffic and find a parking space... Just hope I don't get too sick on the way
I can't wait for the sickness to be over I really really can't... today has been another horrible dayfelt really bad all day
