£500, exchanged for Airmiles using the double miles offer will get you 24000 airmiles (£500/£2.50 x 60 miles x 2)
You need 6500 miles for a flight to Orlando, so you have enough for 3 flights. With an extra £42.50 in vouchers you would have enough for 4 flights. How many grandchildren are you taking?

You need to price up the total cost of a Virgin package, less £2000 and compare that against the cost of accomodation, car etc if you book these separately yourself and take advantage of free flights using Airmiles.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

No yips for the airmiles but if yuur going to paris keep an eye out for 1p ryan air flights and get yourself a card where you dont have to pay any extras with ryan air.

We go to paris every year for 1p each, each way. Wouldnt waste my clubcard deals etc im saving them for a more far away place.

I wonder if this offer will be repeated in future? I would like to save up my points for longer before exchanging. Does anyone know if they have done this double airmiles offer before?

I only have £34 to exchange now, but next year will be lots more after following the extra points tips on forums here.
  • I have never used airmiles before, can anyone advise me if you can use them for flights for other people travelling with you? I would like to go with ny daughter (same address), mother-in-law and friend.

    Thanks

    c. You may use your Airmiles for anyone as long as you, the account holder, contact us to make the booking. You may use Airmiles for up to nine people in any one booking.

I'd suggest contacting them by email and asking though...... just for your own peace of mind.

We would like to go to Florida in oct this year. Am i right that the deal is only open for 6 months i.e the double airmiles finishes 31/3/09, meaning they must be used by 30/9/09.

No, though the double airmiles finishes 31/3/09, there is no limit on when you can use your Airmiles, as long as you don't go more than 24 months without adding to your account. From the T & C

    b. If you have not had an Airmile credited to your account for 24 consecutive months, all Airmiles that you have accrued to date will automatically expire without further notice.

Does anyone know of the statement cut off date for February's clubcard points? I am trying to boost mine up to take the deal but not sure if it is worth me trying too much.
