Im probably being a tad impatient but i got my airmiles on 1st March and im still waiting for them to be doubled up, in the tesco bumph it states it takes upto 28days for the extra miles to be awarded, so is it best to sit tight or give em a ring?

Absolutely give them a call. I waited 28 days, and rang just now. The lady i spoke to said sometimes they need a nudge and emailed her manager. She said they may go on today, or definately in the next few days.

So if the miles do not double up then it is Tesco whom you chase and not Airmiles/BA??

No, i rang airmiles. They're very good. They actually rang me back and told me it may be the end of next week because of the bank holidays.

    I am confused...

Have converted £562.50 of vouchers which I make 225 * 60 miles = 13,500, then another bonus 13,500 in the next few weeks.

The first lot has hit my airmiles account and says (below).

Now why is there an 80 mile rate? Shouldn't it be 60 then another 60 in 30 days. Does anyone elses say similar?

23/03/1053066672 TESCO MILES AWARD AT 80 MILE RATE

    18320

It looks like you've exchanged Tesco rewards for Airmiles in the past. Unfortunately as this deal is only for people who've never exchanged for Airmiles in the past, you're not likely to get the bonus miles.

I've just noticed that my Airmiles credited from Clubcard are also showing at the 80 Miles rate! Panic!!! I converted the vouchers on Feb 16th and still don't have the bonus miles.

Before converting however I phoned Tesco Clubcard to check that I had never converted to Airmiles before - they said I hadn't, and I also contacted Airmiles, and have an email from them confirming that I haven't credited miles to my account via Tesco.

Plus, when I converted the vouchers to Airmiles, I also got an email from Airmiles saying "Thank you for collecting with a new partner".

I've just emailed Tesco customer service to chase up the bonus miles - if they now claim I'm not a "new customer", they're going to have a fight on their hands!

EDIT: I've just called Airmiles on the number given by Geoggy above, and they added the bonus points on straight away. Yay!

We also got the 80 mile rate (doubled ) but we had to ring airmiles to jog them into crediting the bonus points. We converted on 3rd March and got our upgrade on 3nd April, manually although the lady said they would have been processed that night anyway.

We have never converted tesco cc vouchers to airmiles before, although many many years ago (poss when airmiles began?) I opened an airmiles account but then didn't get any airmiles so forgot about it. The tesco conversion went to an new account my OH opened but at the same address as my original account.

So I have no idea why we got the 80 mile rate. However if your 28 days has expired and you haven't got your bonus points I would give airmiles a ring to chase it up. HTH
