Three quick questions as I'm an Airmiles newbie.
a) Are they return flights? (duh - sorry)
b) I want two return flights to New York (zone 4). So - this would cost me £208.33 in Clubcard vouchers?
c) Once I have the miles, can I pay for a flight for a friend, or are they just valid for flights in my own name? (My friend and I want to go to New York together, and I want to know if I can pay for both of us with Airmiles.)
Thanks guys.0 -
If I exchange my CC vouchers for Airmiles to get the double offer do I have to book the flight before the end of the offer or can I leave it until later in the year? I've read the thread but confused myself now!0

You can book your flight (or spend your airmiles on hotels/hire cars etc) whenever you like as long as you have enough points in your airmiles account. You must also make at least one airmiles booking in a two year period to keep your account open.
Best bet is to wait for your Airmiles 'welcome' pack to arrive, once you have exchanged your Tesco vouchers. All of the details are in there.0 -
Woohoo! I have just raided my filing cabinet where we've been saving all our vouchers, and we have £115.50 of vouchers to convert to airmiles yay! That's almost paid for one return flight to Las Vegas next year0

Those who have taken advantage of the double airmiles - do they automatically get credited at 120 miles per £2.50 or did you have to chase to make this happen?
Am in 2 minds to take advantage of this offer or not - any holidays we take will be in school holidays and I've heard they're quite hard to get hold of with Airmiles.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

i think they turn into basic miles first and then bonus miles added a while afterwards...0

Agree with zombie's post above. I looked a week or so ago when in a rush, and only the single amount went on, and when I looked tonight, the double amount was on. I just typed all the vouchers into the website and I have done nothing other than that.
I would strongly advise anyone who is not sure whether they may have collected airmiles in the past to call the tesco clubard number to check - I found that originally my card converted into miles (I am going back 10 years here I am sure) and that barred me from the double miles, luckily, my hubby's card had never collected miles, so as all of our vouchers had both clubcards on, I checked my husbands airmiles card number (which goes into our family account for airmiles) and set up an online account for him. I then converted from his tesco clubard no to his airmiles no. You don't get a second chance with airmiles so it is worth a check if you are unsure.
