Im saving my vouchers till a little before the offer ends that way i can aqquire a few more points between now and the next mailing, hopefully we'll have enough ponts by then to convert them into 2 flights to new york. Although we might change our destination by them.
Thanks to the OP for pointing this out - i had never even thought about going to america as i always thought it was to pricey for flights etc, now with airmiles it's a possibility even if it takes a few years to save the miles.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

I just used £636.50 of clubcard vouchers (converted to new offer of 30,500 airmiles) on a cruise, it reduced my holiday by around £2000! Although £636.50 would have been worth more at Virgin - Virgins prices are VERY LOADED to start with so renders value down loads. Also Virgin dont allow vouchers towards cruises.

Pyabies, I'd like to save cc vouchers for a cruise in 2011. Have never tried as large a project as this with cc, only ever used for shopping and I think once for airport parking!! Can you tell me who you booked with , what happens about paying the deposit, balance etc. TIA0 -
I've already switched clubcard vouchers for airmiles before so miss out on this new offer :-(
However, I have just got free return flights to Prague for hubby and I in Decmeber with the airmiles from the vouchers. Then I booked a hotel with expedia and knocked £100 off with my nectar vouchers.
So....3 nights 4* Prague In December for £75, can't be bad.
I know we can all be obsessed with getting the best deal form the vouchers but at then end of the day whatever you use them for is free. For me a treat rather than mundane groceries is by far the best bet!!!0 -

I have been looking to use my clubcard vouchers because some are only valid until the end of this month.
I was looking & hoping to book a ferry to France next year & take our caravan for 4 wks but they only go to Ireland or Amsterdam.
I've used my vouchers before for flights on Excel Airways.
I havn't got enough for a Cosmos or Virgin holiday so I thought I'd look at airmiles that is why I've asked the ???
Anyone used airmiles before?
I haven't but it sounds a really good deal!
BTW you can use clubcard vouchers for EuroTunnel from Folkestone to Calais. My OH and I went in September and it was quick and easy and only cost £30.00 of vouchers0 -

Make sure you check all the charges etc on these Airmiles flights. My experience of them is that they are a waste of time. Once you've paid all the extra charges you end up paying as much as you would have without the miles and all your hard earned airmiles have gone. I've got a load about to "expire" (which is ridiculous in any case) but if I want to use them for anything I have to pay a £40 "admin" charge as I haven't collected any for a certain period of time...0

Am i correct in saying that there are no "hidden costs" such as fuel taxes, just the £30 admin fee0
