7000/120=58.33 x 2.5=£145.83 of unconverted clubcard vouchers per person

or to put it another way

convert £145.83 of clucard vouchers into miles

each 2.50 of vouchers gives you 120 miles

    so

145.83/2.5x120=7000 miles that you need each person for a zone 5 flight plus regional airport

It might be better to get them to price match a fly drive

Thank you very much!! We have got about £400 at the moment so will have to keep saving them up. Thanks for tip re: fly drive, I didnt know you could do that with Airmiles. Cheers.

You have to be really flexible with dates as Airmiles only offer certain flights and seats etc for each destination.

I just used £636.50 of clubcard vouchers (converted to new offer of 30,500 airmiles) on a cruise, it reduced my holiday by around £2000! Although £636.50 would have been worth more at Virgin - Virgins prices are VERY LOADED to start with so renders value down loads. Also Virgin dont allow vouchers towards cruises.

Airmiles people are VERY HELPFUL so dont hesitate to ring and chat to them before making a decision.

Thank you. Well done you on having so many Clubcard Vouchers! I really need to keep an eye on all the extra points deals and keep saving! Have a great time on your cruise!

  • Thanks PlanetJanet. Keep saving them up - it took us around 2.5 years in total, that was just with Finest credit card and not much shopping in Tesco!! also got CC+ now so getting triple points instore at moment!! we have moved more local to a Tesco store now so points building faster for the next holiday.
Tesco are getting more pernickety , about rolling over expired vouchers too so watch out for ones that are about to expire because it just depends if you get a good person in the call centre and if they are willing to go that extra mile or just spout T&C's about expiry dates etc. ... in the last week I have experienced both.... ask for Jim - ha! he was brill.

I used my Airmiles from my Tesco Club Card points to book my hotel only. The flights available didn't suit my requirements.

I booked my flights with Ryanair.

Result is a week on Costa del Sol for just over £20.

Wow! I never thought of doing that.
Could you tell me who you booked your hotel with?

    pyabies.

Have you got the number to ring the call centre.
Do you really mean you can ask for Jim?

    cheers.

Evening all. I've already exchanged tesco vouchers into Airmiles, so I'm excluded from the double miles offer. However..... my hubby hasn't exchanged any, nor does he have an airmiles account. So, if I set up an account with Airmiles in his name, would I be able to exchange our £500 worth of clubcard vouchers for double miles. Has anyone else done this? What does the "team" think.
    TIA

The vouchers can be exchanged between 02/11/09 and 21/03/10.

So we could wait until Feb vouchers then convert.

Surely they wouldn't take the offer off ???
