  • Hey DBG, Agree completely about everyone needing a treat occasionally, I just wish I had enough money to get me through the month first haha!

Good luck, I'm updating my diary today....

Urgh, got the urge to do a rough snowball (can't do a definite one since my income is so variable :o)

Based on that my dfd is Jan 2012  Ideally I'd like to be debt free this time next year, which means I'd need to find £500 a month for debt repayments  so unless miracles occur there's just no way that is going to happen :o definately want to bring my dfd closer than Jan 2012 though, that's just far too long to have this hanging round my neck.

Back to work now (or I'll never get there!)

  • Yeah keep going DBG, this is the time of year to blitz it at work and on ebay and dooyoo, in January (after the sales obvz) everything gets a little bit quiet workwise, and no one buys anything, so keep on going!

What is your job anyways DBG??

Keep going, you'll be fine :)

top secret job eh..... sounds interesting! lol

I've been very good and not bought lunch since last monday :) its like something has clicked and I keep thinking "well i could spent £5 on lunch or it can go towards paying off the overdraft"

its good to know there are others doing the same thing so keep up the good work ladies :)
  • You know I have just had a thought, some months I struggle with where I am going to get the money from but if you stop spend £5 a day on lunch this will give £100 extra per month to put towards your debts....
(sorry if I am repeating anything that has already been said but if i have it worth repeating) £100 thats £1200 a year bloody hell..... that might just get me out of bed in the morning. (ding!)

have you seen the demotivator tool? http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/protect/demotivator/

tells you how much you spend on say magazine in a year and how many days you need to work to pay for it. quite shocking really
