Afternoon! flying visit as I'm flat out today! Have done vb, jpj & bp - finally made redeem level there :D here's hoping they pay out, not liking the new forum much though.

I'm not liking the BP forum either - its so confusing!

At least you are giving it your best shot, regardless of whether you make your target or not! you'll get there one day! :)

    Thanks peeps :)

No sign of snow where I am purple, just rain and wind, and bl00dy cold

Feeling a bit down today, I reckon it's going to take me two years to get out of the hole I've dug myself  I was nearly out of debt (apart from student loan) this time last year and it's all just flown back up, so I have a mini plan:

I've got rid of one of my cc's (threw it in the fire :D) so I can't actually spend on it, the other one I've managed to remember the pin for, so it's being used here and there and everythings adding up on it :o so, there's another purchase to come off that card (stupid expensive thing I broke last week, will be just short of £300 ) once it does, the balance is getting transferred to the other card and this one's also getting the fire treatment

That means I'm living without credit cards -just paying them off :o so I shouldn't be adding any more to my debt and I should start to see it come down, albeit very slowly.

I also need to start a spending diary, to find out exactly where all the pennies are going, this will have to include direct debits and minimum cc payments as I *think* that's where most of my money's going.

Think that's enough rambling for today - sorry!

hi, don't forget to cancel the card once you've cleared it as it's all too easy to phone up and ask for a replacement when you think you need something. we've all done it.

    Thanks lemon :)

I hate having to phone for anything, but it's always to be better on the safe side!

Have managed to make the 1st a NSD, woop! Don't think tomorrow will be though as I'm out of fizzy juice and there's none in the house to fill a bottle either, argh! Think I'll do a little stock up and mainly use my mr t vouchers :D

Fizzy juice miraculously appeared in the house last night :D so I'm on track for another NSD today.

Ham roll for lunch (was a chicken & cheese sandwich on Monday and a Cup-a-soup yesterday) I'm feeling very lazy on the lunch making front, I think it's because the weather is so crap and I just want to be curled up in bed :o

But I will persevere, needs must :)

    Evening!

Had another NSD today, well pleased with myself :D really think getting back into the nsd-way is going to help me kick my butt when I can't be bothered making lunch, especially since I've really been struggling the past few days :o

Going to log off, make myself some lunch for tomorrow then get an early night cause I'm blooming knackered!

    Afternoon!

My £5 amazon came through :j I think instead of selling them, I'm going to build them up in my account so i can buy birthday pressies/stuff for the house through the year and if there's any left then save up for next xmas :snow_grin

Having a bit of a nightmare with a foreign ebay buyer  who says the item isn't as described. Well it flipping well was when I sent it, replied to them right away last night but haven't heard back from them, keep checking my inbox all the time as it's doing my head in

Having my home-made lunch, just going to do vb and jpj, leaving bp till tonight. Really need to get into d*yoo, might give that another go tonight.

Transferred £50 from paypal into my bank account last night, which will help with the overdraft. Need to get to the bank tomorrow with the change, with all of that I'm still going to be around £80 short, hopefully that'll get sorted with payday in a couple of weeks so I shouldn't have too many charges, then I'm going to get rid of the overdraft so I'm not tempted by it at all.

I think I've accepted now that it's going to take me a good while to get out of this debt, and no matter how much I want to wave a magic wand and get a quick fix it's not going to happen. So I'll probably be round here for a couple of years :o

Hope everyone's having a good week and hasn't turned into a snowman with the cold :snow_laug

Last night / today has not been good. Major arguments :(

Anyway. Feeling so like cr*p made me not sleep properly last night, then sleep in today, and forget to take my lunch into work (which I forced myself to make last night ). Could get someone to take it in but I won't after last night/this morning so I'm stuck with disgusting cup-a-soup again. Luckily had a carton of orange juice at work too so I won't go thirsty and hopefully won't ruin a nsd.

Although the nsd will all be dependent on if I can be bothered to go to mr t's tonight.

Right now I just want to curl up in bed and sleep for a very very long time.
