top secret job eh..... sounds interesting! lol

I've been very good and not bought lunch since last monday :) its like something has clicked and I keep thinking "well i could spent £5 on lunch or it can go towards paying off the overdraft"

its good to know there are others doing the same thing so keep up the good work ladies :)

:D Yup, top secrect as if I post on here what my job is / where I work the world will know who I am :rotfl:a bit of mystery is always good :o

Well done purple, it really does get easier after the first few days. I'm finally managine to cut back on the fizzy juice now too, really need to get that down as I did a demotivator for that and  not counting all the pounds it's been adding too

£1200 sounds way better to me than an extra ten mins in bed in the morning shwa, if only I'd realised sooner :o how was your banana sarnie?

I don't know what I'm going to have tomorrow, thinking maybe a sandwich. Will have to see what's in. I'm still managing to eat from the cupboards :D hoping to get to next Monday at least in doing so. Though it has given me some weird combos like todays rice concoction, it was super tasty though.

Just did my bp and got up to 6000, not long to go and I'll have enough for a voucher, woop!

Think my "list" for tomorrow will look pretty much the same as todays, it's all go at work getting ready for :xmassign:

I love banana cake made from squishy black bananas, yum yum! Now just writing that has made me crave some :o Ham salad for me today too :cheesy: I was feeling a bit lazy last night and had the urge just to buy one this morning but resisted.

I think there's something in the air as I slept ok last night but I'm bl00dy knackered this morning :(

:rotfl:Famous, I wish :rotfl:no, I'm just from a small place, which is kinda what I meant by everyone :D

Don't worry zar, your blip wasn't that bad, and you've come right back here instead of hiding away which is a good thing.

I'll check out dooyoo later on, have millions of work to do again today, have done jpj, vb and just about to do some bp, then it's knuckle-down time!

Ahh so you mean if you had any work colleagues on this website, they'd be able to deduct who you are instantly from where you work?

and here i had images of you working in some super secret FBI-esk department buried under the council. I know what you mean tho, I got found out on here as my old username used to be part of my email address (clever huh!) its not good, much rather being anonymous. (I hope you don't worry about me finding out who you are :o)

half day today so i'm going to get as much on ebay as i possibly can.
  • Hi Debtbegone,

Stumbled across your diary and just read it from beginning to now, it rang true with me, as I always used to spend money on on lunch, but its packed lunches all the way now.

Sounds like your doing well, keep it up! I like reading to see what new ideas you have for lunch! Banana sandwiches are always good!

Good luck with your journey. x

Yup :) And though I'm not ashamed to admit my debt I just don't much fancy being the talk of the office iykwim!
Well Done! How long do you have to wait for a payout? I've managed to screw up my bp for today  serves me right for trying to do it while doing other stuff :o

:rotfl:if only! Eek, that's not good, I actually re-registered as my last username was one I used in a million places so didn't want to get found out :o Not at all m'dear, we're both in the same boat (just so long as you're not an office gossip :p)

Hope your doing well with your ebay listings, I really need to get a couple up tonight, then the rest of my pile listed on Sunday and my day off on Monday, all things going well.

Hi EH, (hope you don't mind me shortening!) I'm trying to be as creative as possible (with what I have in at the moment anyway!) so I don't get bored and just buy something, nearly £3 for a roll I can make for pennies is crazy!

Quite proud of myself as I had to nip into the shop today and walked right past the sandwich cabinet, even though I REALLY wanted to look to see what they had. I knew I had a ham salad waiting for me, got back to work and ate my own sarnie, and blooming good it was too :D

Completely craving cheesey mashed potatoes at the moment though :rotfl:Ooohh, I think I'll make up some mashed pots tonight (know there are some that are nearing past their best in the cupboard) and some gravy & veg, take the gravy with me in my flask tomorrow  Maybe I should stop talking about my lunches, some are a tad on the crazy side lol!

(p.s. sorry for the mahoosive post!)

mmm cheesy mashed potatoes. not had that since my student days. we used to add a bit of onion to it as well. yum think i might have to make some of that now!

Wow, well done purple! Hope you weren't without power too long.

I didn't even get near ebay last night, helped the boy out with some of his work then managed to break something thats going to cost near to £300 to fix. I'm gutted as it was completely my own fault. I KNEW I should've waited but I didn't. So today am rather annoyed with myself as that's going to have to go on the cc  I seem to do two steps forward, one back

Anyhoo, what's done is done and there's nothing I can do about it now (unless anyone has a time-travelling Delorean I can borrow? :rotfl:)

So, I've done scr*tch and jpj today already, need to do some bp and then I think it'll be another looonnng and busy day at work!

    Hope everyone's ok today :)

Oooohh, and I've made myself mash for my lunch - can't wait :D
