Just had my shopping delivered - get this it was 10 mins early :j:j! The driver was really friendly and helpful, brought the crates in and explained the process to me as he knew I haven't done this before. I had everything I wanted and the dates on the chilled food were fine so all in all I'm really pleased and think this is definitely the way to go for me.
Thank you!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Ok Here's one - just received my Tescos delivery and the prices charged on some of the goods on the receipt do not match the confirmation email that I got when I placed the order.
Now I know you're all thinking it's a bogof or something on special offer but I've checked and it's not. It's just literally doubled in price !
The website is today showing the more expensive price.
I know when I complain I'll get it all refunded but do I really have to double check each and every item what I'm being charged on the day ? I haven't got time to be doing with that !0 -

Your lucky you are refunded, I had an item jump up in price once and when I phoned the helpline was told the price online is a guide price and as in there T&C's they price you pay can be different. Oh and if i'm unhappy with the prices I can return with driver or to a store for a refund :mad:0 -

You need to be aware that promotions change ( some last 3 days some last months)
For example today was the promotion change for Grocery and health and beauty. Some of the lines were half price yesterday and have returned to full price today ( same applies to multisaves) . When you do your shopping the lines that wont be on promotion when you get your delivery get flagged up and you are asked to confirm that you still want the products despite the promotion ending.

It wasn't showing as being on promotion, nor did anything get flagged up ! I have fired off an email to them. I'll let you know the outcome....0

Think you'll be lucky as it does say on the site that you pay the price on that day, not the day you order. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

Quick question - I've never online shopped before
If i allow something to be substitued on my shop and they don't have the product i want,do i get charged a higher price?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
Debt payments 2012 £433.270 -
I was going to ask the same question as the previous poster, I know Asda will not charge you extra if they substitute your item with a higher priced item.
Do Tesco, sainsburys and ocado do they same?
I do find internet shopping alot easier so nice to get some advice.
ThanksBig Thanks to all those who post competitions you are stars!0 -
If you're busy there is nothing better - it's well worth shopping around to save on delivery cost showever - I use Tesco, Sainsbury and Ocado (and at Christmas Waitrose). If you don't use them for a while they are often kind enough to send you a voucher!! Good info here - online grocery information.0

I always get my shopping delivered with Tesco's on a Thurs ... usually do the shop on the Wed.
The most annoying thing is when it says the offers will have expired by say Thurs but I know they would just start up again so wonder if they still come up as offers on your bill?
I find the deliveries are always on time and they text you now with a specific hour slot.
Agree with veg going off quick. It was at it's worst when we had the snow. I would recieve my veg for the week and it would all be off. Yuck!0
