Every time I look at my list it fills me with dread that I have so much to do. I have decided to go easy on myself and just try to keep the house tidy and S & S'd if possible. If I get more time I will try and complete at least one day.

    skim reading sorry!

thanks for replies re DD2 eating, piggers I know you are right really and had 1 mega fussy eater already who is thriving now at 6 if a bit skinny but thats no bad thing ...

Dusty - I will try the chicken and crips nuggets, do I just use precooked chicken ? DH and I are veggie so I dont cook chicken but I am happy to buy the chicken pieces already cooked and give them to them (we always said the kids can make their own choice about being veggie, they eat what we eat at home but can have whatever they want any where else)

Penny - google says - Guy Fawkes father died when he was 9 and his mother remarried. So now you know! I love it when my 6 year old can teach me something :D

Just aim for a level one while you've got all the stress with OH's Dad and don't beat yourself up over it. Sending lots of positive vibes for all the family while you're going through this difficult time. x

Been for a coffee at a friends after school so have thrown left over tuna pasta bake in the microwave for the girls that was in the freezer. DH said he'd do ours when he gets home. Off to work in just over an hour though. Think I'll do a quick tidy of my shelves to get today's star before work, but I'll have to report back tomorrow for it though. Have a good evening everyone.

Forget that...DH has just phoned and he's stuck on the motorway coming home from work so he'll probably be another 45 minutes at least. Suppose I'll have to do my own tea. CBA though, but if I don't eat now I'll be starving at work later.

Thanks sunnygirl, that is kind of what I had started anyway. Most of free time is taken up with hospital visits or calls to the last person who visited. OHs dad is in a hospital a bit further away which will make things tough. I am trying for a tidy house and clean bathroom and kitchen ready for starting again afresh next week.

Well my first week as a Flylady has not gone well, in fact I have not even finished the whole of level 1 on any day. However all is not lost, I have now got into a night time routine. Before I go to bed I have to leave the kitchen tidy (all sides wiped, dishes put away, floor brushed and dish washer on) Sort out the living room (cushions put straight, cups and glasses in dishwasher and HOTSPOT coffee table clear)

Last night I also started to introduce the bathroom (wipe window sill, wipe sink and wiped toilet and bleach)

I guess it all takes me 15 mins and it means that it then doesn't start to build up the next day (which is what I guess the point is!) My house is so much better.

I can not believe how better I feel about coming home at the end of the day now-even try to get the dish washer emptied and a mix in the bread maker by the time OH gets back.

Now I have heard that baby steps in the way so, I think, although I have had total failure on the levels, I have in fact take my first baby steps by getting into a good daily routine.

Phew.... that was a long post, but just wanted to let you all know!
