Can I ask for some positive vibes please? As some of you may recall, OHs dad was diagnosed with vascular dementia in September. He has been in a hospital recently, it was meant to be for rehab to make his legs stronger, however he has not had a good few days as he fell on his back after going in the shower on Sunday night. We are not sure if the latest problems are linked to that or not but the nurses are concerned with his inability to use his motor skills, he keeps knocking cups of tea over and finding it hard to eat without getting food everywhere (this was already happening so it must be a lot worse now). We had a chat with the nurses last night and have realised that his body seems to be giving up slowly. They have done loads of x-rays and blood tests and we are waiting for the results to tell us of any significant changes. However today things have got even worse as his speech started getting slurred so he was rushed to a different hospital for a brain scan. This happened a few years ago so at least this time he is in good hands. We are not expecting him to go home now, hopefully he will be well enough to go into a home and not have to stay in hospital. So...please can I have lots of vibes for OH, his dad, his family. Apologies for the off topic chat but I needed to get it out of my system.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

My bedroom just needs a quick dust then it will be done, remade my bed this morning before work and since im single it doesnt get messed up like it used to, no mounds of clothes on the floor etc etc etc, i love my room!

I've stripped the bed, hoovered it and flipped the mattress. Need to find the energy to remake it later! And I've done an online shop as we are low on loo rolls and that's always my cue to do some shopping.
