And in my case still have the scar to prove it! Bunsen Burner - not sparkler. I am a muppet.
I would not let my DS1 (6) have a sparkler at home never mind at school. He is a born fiddler and would do something utterly stupid (but in his mind, logical) with it. Depends on the child for me.
Woo hoo - I have managed to hoover downstairs. Not bad considering it is now Wednesday and it is all I have done to the house since Sunday night. Way to busy with everything else and DH selfishly has man flu and cannot possibley do a single thing for himself, never mind to help me. I suggested I bought myself a maids outfit but that gave him other ideas. Can't be that ill then .
Off to fetch the boys in a minute, but will crack on with a few HHCs on my return. As a minimum I must S&S the key rooms before we sink into grime.
I bought some half price transformers in Sainsburys and the rude word edition of Good Food. Does that count as planning?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Thank you for all the wedding wishes :-) Was a fantastic day! Although I have never ever been so nervous in my entire life!!0 -
ensuite sink finally gave up the ghost and became fully clogged up -my attempts with the plunger no longer worked. DH very kindly unblocked it by taking the pipe off ( it was full of gunge) but made a bit of a mess so the result was I have cleaned the ensuite fully including scrubbing the floor & have also done the downstairs loo. will try to do the bedroom tomorrow0
