I have just joined DD in a bit of film indulgence - we watched St Trinians (so Valli going oo we saw that when we went to London - that must be in the new city hall etc etc - DD couldn''t give a fig)
There's something rather appealing about Russell Brand
    *sigh*

rosepink, I love the boots. They are a bit pricey though.

Can you get your old ones repaired at an old fashioned cobblers? We have a great one we use but only when his wife is out. She doesn't like him taking on things she doesn't deem to be reparable. He even mended my friends canvas pumps. Just because she loved them! Hope your tum is better soon.
Good thinking, I hadn't thought of that, will see if they can be mended

oooh jinky, nice boots on there! I am going to get myself a pair when I get into town. My problem is getting boots to go round my calves so I'm a bit loathed to buy some online.
I have that prob too which is why I like the site I linked too because they do different calf sizes.

Thanks for the link Jinky, they have some nice stuff but not quite what I was looking for.

    Serena hugs to DD

Vanilla why not do your shopping online? I do all mine online, saves much time and money!

Have a nice time away Greenbee

And second, I'm not sure whether to leave something to counteract the negative feedback, because then that will give her a positive. Mind you having said all that. All my other feedback is excellent so I might just leave it.

Anyone know if neg feedback eventually disappears after 12 months is it?

Ask her to remove it.. simple as.. it isn't your fault they didn't fit.. now had they been damaged then fairplay.. you can also respond to feedback left!!

Piggers - re the uni - make sure you keep your options open! Don't burn bridges! Though that said, I did my degree as a mature student with two small children in tow and lived for the first three months in a caravan (with the children - though I only have 25% the number you have) before I was given a housing association place to live in. I did it. You can too..

No, I can't.. I have 13 'professionals' plus IEP reviews for 5 of the children, inc. 1 child with learning difficulties, 1 with aspergers, 1 with partial incontinence and 3 with mobility issues, plus stuff with XH and a divorce to sort, plus the house to rebuild, plus my usual emotional turmoil to deal with and DS3 is in hospital for an op on Thursday. It only takes someone to be ill or a minor catastrophe to occur and my organisation falls to pieces.

    Evening all,

Pigpen, i think you have made the right choice about Uni, there's no point putting yourself under any more pressure when you can defer for a year or so. You do an amazing job with everything you have going on.

I've had a bad migrane for most of the day so haven't achieved much since i last posted.

We went for a nose around the new school, it's fab. Ds2 didn't want to leave the Reception class, he can't wait for September now. After that we went to the first firework display the Village has had for years which was amazing. Then some friends and their DS & DD came over.

We're having a party tomorrow night so i'm scrapping my list for now ( Ds2's room is pretty tidy anyway and can wait until Sunday) and am putting down what needs doing tomorrow.

    Saturday
Go to Market for apples & salad stuff
    Make choc covered apples
    Put rabbits in indoor cage
Tidy Dining room & relocate airer
Clean out & damp dust fireplace
Tidy, dust & hoover living room
Relocate Ds2's toys from Living room
    Hoover passage
    S & S Kitchen
    Empty bin
    S & S Bathroom
Tidy, S & S, hoover, mop & relocate laundry baskets, junk, wood & tomato plant from Utilty room
Find paper cups, plates etc , if can't find PANIC & buy some more
Put lamp in Utility room & lay out drinks & sauces etc
    Tidy Garden
    Clean tables & chairs
    Make pasta salad
    Make salad
Put snacky things into dishes & cover

I'll do burgers, sausages & onions just before they arrive and put in oven on low heat

That's more than i thought was to do:eek:. I think i will be delegating some of that;).
