Pigpen - Definitely the right choice me thinks!

Why am I sitting here with a glass of skimmed milk and two slices of jam on toast when you lot are on the alcoholic beverages? Something wrong there I think.

I've just had a message from a buyer on flea bay that I sold two pairs of girls trousers to for the grand total of 99p. Cheeky mare left me a neg because one pair was too small. Didn't contact me first before leaving it. I'd have happily refunded her if she had of.

So I emailed her the other night detailing politely the above and just had a message back saying ..'oh sorry thought I'd left netural feedback':mad::mad::mad: So now my lovely 100% is down to 98.4% because of her!!:mad::mad:

I haven't left her any feedback yet. Not sure whether to or not now. Grrrr it's really miffed me.

And breathe.................on a more positive flying note.............

Bedding is washed, ironed and back on my bed. Nearly all the washing is done and the ironing as well and it's Friday night. Hurrah!!!!

cause you is a good girl????????????

Re the flea bay...obv you put the sizes on the listing, and for the sake of 99p??????????????(does it make a diff if you don't give feedback.....only bought 1 thing from there and didn't leave any?!?!?!?!?)

oooh jinky, nice boots on there! I am going to get myself a pair when I get into town. My problem is getting boots to go round my calves so I'm a bit loathed to buy some online.
Always a problem for me as well:mad:

I have a pair that need to go back.....not bought from there though:D

Mmmmm no it's cos I only have a tiny bit of vodka in the house and nothing to go with it. And I can't be faffed to nip across the road to Mr T to get the something to go with it.:p;)

And second, I'm not sure whether to leave something to counteract the negative feedback, because then that will give her a positive. Mind you having said all that. All my other feedback is excellent so I might just leave it.

Anyone know if neg feedback eventually disappears after 12 months is it?

Next episode of Spooks on on BBC3 at 9.00pm :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

soappie that was a nice little earner then but a hectic day for you - hope today is quieter - have you put the bed in the other room where DD will move into? perhaps it will encourage her to move her stuff for you.

DD moved to DS's old room a couple of weeks ago and has been sleeping on a mattress on a floor. Trouble is, half her stuff is still in the front room so she's sort of claimed both of them.

The bed was put up, with the help of BFupR whilst DD was out last night. The mattress put on top and the covers remade. DD has now promised that she'll vacate all her stuff from the front room tomorrow :)

Piggers - re the uni - make sure you keep your options open! Don't burn bridges! Though that said, I did my degree as a mature student with two small children in tow and lived for the first three months in a caravan (with the children - though I only have 25% the number you have) before I was given a housing association place to live in. I did it. You can too..

fedup - I'll share a glass with you

Greenbee - you seem to be fretting overly much about your packing. Remember, the essentials are, really, passport, tickets, money. You did a similar trip before so you must be used to it by now...

Vanilla - good news on the grant!

Well, I did the utility room (that's a Friday star when you have a moment please Toots!) then DS called to ask if I could possibly drive him somewhere (he doesn't drive) to buy something that was too big to go in DiL's ikkle car. So I did. And it was rush hour. And it was raining. And I got soaked whilst measuring things up to make sure they would fit in the back of the car. But the good news is the deal was the rest of their stuff gets move this weekend :D

Then NN came over for gin and we chatted for ages

Now I'm about to get my dinner and crash into bed. I am pooped!

Different type of trip (hot, client-facing, multi-stop) ... new luggage ;)... Anyway, apart from the trousers, which I need to pick up tomorrow, the case is now packed. Just waiting for the laptop battery to charge (it would have been done by now if I'd switched the power on :o) so that I can pack it.

Have to buy tomorrow... watch battery (it would help if I packed the watch ), sunglasses (my decent ones are bent, and the others live in the car), worldwide power adapter so I can charge my laptop in the hotel and a neoprene laptop sleeve. Should be able to get them all at the airport... once I've been nice to the check in staff and hopefully got a bulkhead seat!

I have a bit of space, so that will allow for the fact that things ALWAYS take up more room on the way back.

And I even know what I'm wearing tomorrow too :D

Off to find some food & wine seeing as you lot have all started without me :p

Thanks! I'm sure it will be fine. I'm sure I'll eventually get the hang of packing in 10 minutes rather than taking a week...

Taxi is picking me up at 12.30 tomorrow, so I might actually get a few bits sorted in the house before I leave.

Oh yes... and I've now had verbal quotes for the woodstove. I've asked them to send me written ones as they're suggesting some different models, but we've pencilled in the end of next week for a survey and 30th Nov for the installation :j
