I will join you all with a glass of white wine.
rosepink, I love the boots. They are a bit pricey though.
Can you get your old ones repaired at an old fashioned cobblers? We have a great one we use but only when his wife is out. She doesn't like him taking on things she doesn't deem to be reparable. He even mended my friends canvas pumps. Just because she loved them! Hope your tum is better soon.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I really want to get these boots as my winter boots have given up - the zips are completely broken. But I've no money to get them, would have to go on the CC...I guess that's a no then
I will have to have cold tootsies this year, especially as I can never find tights that fit and stay up so normally don't wear any.

evening all
It's the weekend....yay!!!
Hope everyone is ok, I've only read the last couple of pages but pigpen - that sounds like a sensible decision to me. You've a lot on your plate and one more year won't hurt.
Nightmare journeys both ways tonight, especially coming home - took almost two hours!!! DH got on and did the dinner though (falafel with salad, tzaziki, pittas and brown rice) though I had to give some instructions over the phone on the train!! He's now gone out to help his mum take a load of stuff to a big sale at the church tomorrow - I thought he'd only be gone about 20 mins but it has turned out to be a bigger job than expected and he's been over an hour already!! I did get lots of stuff done at work today including filing and recycling a lot of paper, need another half hour on it at some point but it's an improvement at least.
I've washed up and put away the washing that DH folded earlier, plus made the bed (can anyone else not stand an unmade bed? I hate it!!).
we're hoping to go for a walk (weather permitting) tomorrow, so flying will be mainly Sunday.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
oooh jinky, nice boots on there! I am going to get myself a pair when I get into town. My problem is getting boots to go round my calves so I'm a bit loathed to buy some online.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Pigpen - Definitely the right choice me thinks!
Why am I sitting here with a glass of skimmed milk and two slices of jam on toast when you lot are on the alcoholic beverages? Something wrong there I think.
I've just had a message from a buyer on flea bay that I sold two pairs of girls trousers to for the grand total of 99p. Cheeky mare left me a neg because one pair was too small. Didn't contact me first before leaving it. I'd have happily refunded her if she had of.
So I emailed her the other night detailing politely the above and just had a message back saying ..'oh sorry thought I'd left netural feedback':mad::mad::mad: So now my lovely 100% is down to 98.4% because of her!!:mad::mad:
I haven't left her any feedback yet. Not sure whether to or not now. Grrrr it's really miffed me.
And breathe.................on a more positive flying note.............
Bedding is washed, ironed and back on my bed. Nearly all the washing is done and the ironing as well and it's Friday night. Hurrah!!!!0 -
pigpen thats a hard decision to make but you have obviously given it much thought and in another year things will hopefully have sorted themselves out for you and the children will be a year older too which might help in some ways. I think you deserve a big squishy hug for being brave enough to recognise that its not right for you just now and dealing with it. and you can have a vodie on me too!!!:D
vanilla well done with the ebaying - I hope DH is back on track soon (((hugs)))
rosepink - get on with your ebaying and you could make enough to get your boots -like pooh I also think they are a bit pricey.
have been for my food shopping with my other support worker and got the tins of sweets in Mr A at 2 for £7 - thank you who ever posted that - thats another thing of my list.
the guy who took me shopping also put it all away for me so that was brilliant.
I am off to do .......................... something!!!:rotfl:
