Heaven knows I'm miserable now at the thought of having to shelve this drivel. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Actually, I feel the same way now....before, I used to read the columns more in an OMG way but I enjoyed the animal rescue tales on their own merit..........but did wonder how on earth she could afford homeopathic vets on night call for an ill ex battery hen.
The horses sounded very pricey too...however, she has a few columns and they are well paid....I didn't give it much thought really.
Wonder how it will turn out in the end?
Perhaps she'll meet Our Purch at the bustop (the one on the wrong side of the road) and fall madly in lurve for ever and ever?
Then he could write about it on here instead of her writing about her lovelife in the paper.0 -

So why's that? They're only driven by potential profits. Is the human nature that hungers for such rubbish changing?0 -

I should imagine those that indulge in such [STRIKE]loopaper[/STRIKE] literature have realised how badly they are written and are thinking they can write and sell the same. I shuddered in typing literature in the same way I shudder when someone tells me they know ''loads'' about ''the pyramids and that'' an the source of their education are the many varied and wonderful documentaries I understand sky provides on such subjects.
Also, why is there so much tv stuff about Hitler?0 -

Mmmm, know what you mean. I've learnt it all on Sky Travel.0 -
So cool. So you're going to be in London/SE too. Us southerners really must all meet up. Long-awaited chocolate cake.
I'm not scary at all, BTW. Well, if you can time it to the right time of the month.
Wageslave - fancy getting a train down?
Girlies only, I think.
Millionaire's playground sounds cool too. No idea what one of those is. I imagine my son playing on golden slides and things, with smiling millionaires looking fondly on.
Actually, I picture it as pretty much like a trip I took to Hyde Park last summer, with my son and his godfather, who happens to be Wall Street banker, and the most loaded person I know. The playground wasn't made of gold, but close enough..
Do tell more, PN. Sounds v exciting. Congratulations on the decision - I'm sure you'll find well-paid work MUCH easier to find round here.
PS Zone 1 means you can walk to work. And nice parks. And museums.
Oooooh Carol!:T
Do you think your son's loaded Wall Street banker Godfather might help you with a deposit on a small pad?:D Would be soooo sweet of him to help his godson.:A:D If he's loaded it's the least he could do!:T0 -

Books by the likes of Katie Price are popular with teenagers. I just hope they don't read them as aspirational. She hooks em young does Jordan, even writes sparkly pink girly books for eight year-olds.
As for the Hitler issue, I think they made a lot of new programmes for the 65th anniversary. The WW2 in colour programmes were fascinating. Somehow seeing Hitler speak with all of the blood red flags with jet black swastikas on made the whole thing even more horrific for people like me who didn't know much about the more in depth details of the war beforehand. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? My GSCE syllabus seem entirely WAll Strret crash and WW2. In fact, I think most of secondary school history was the World wars.
Actually, those ones sound good, its just when I check on the box it always seems to me ... Hitler's Pets and Lovers* or Hitler and Me* Hitler and the Third Leg*
* these are fictional titles hewn from my boredom of WW2...my mother remembers it and My husband's family were killed in it....I just fancy a nce history show about ...I dunno, the war of the roses....we never covered THAT at school :(Then, like Sky Sky-Egyptologists I'll know all about British history & that.0 -
We didn't study WW2 at school, we did WW1 and American independence. Its bonkers that I know more about American history than this country's. I don't think I've ever seen any titles like your imaginary ones in my library lir, maybe you should try writing one. I quite like the sound of Hitler's Pets and Lovers. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
