No, I'll never be like that. Promise....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Set myself up in a millionaire's playground ... so looking forward to living the high life in the early months .... before ... well, who knows... but I will have lived the high life for a few months anyway before moving into accommodation more suited to my station in life
I'll be in zone 1, if that means anything to you... I've no idea about the whole London thing ... yet.
And, I have to worry about money, I only spend what I am earning at the time ... and 2009's not been that great to be honest.
So cool. So you're going to be in London/SE too. Us southerners really must all meet up. Long-awaited chocolate cake.
I'm not scary at all, BTW. Well, if you can time it to the right time of the month.
Wageslave - fancy getting a train down?
Girlies only, I think.
Millionaire's playground sounds cool too. No idea what one of those is. I imagine my son playing on golden slides and things, with smiling millionaires looking fondly on.
Actually, I picture it as pretty much like a trip I took to Hyde Park last summer, with my son and his godfather, who happens to be Wall Street banker, and the most loaded person I know. The playground wasn't made of gold, but close enough..
Do tell more, PN. Sounds v exciting. Congratulations on the decision - I'm sure you'll find well-paid work MUCH easier to find round here.
PS Zone 1 means you can walk to work. And nice parks. And museums.0 -
BTW, love your new avatar, NDG - not quite the same as we remember you, but lovely all the same.0
