BeckyandJack I would recommend Amazon for the sticks as usually half the price of everywhere else! If you don't think you're going to ov for ages I just would delay the testing! Mine started off asking me from cd9 when i didn't ov until cd22 so was using more than the 10 sticks per month so I started ignoring it for the first few days.

The tube exploded in the portal system so the had to take more blood out my other arm, I have a huge lump and bruise on the back of my hand and it is agony and the crooks of both arems are also sore!!!!!

OMG Cat don't apologise for anything! You are entitled to rant more than most!!! I have everything crossed for you(STILL!) that its not ectopic, I know people say its not the end of the world etc etc but at the time it seems like the worst outcome! Keep us updated sweetie and take time to come to terms with everything thats happening xxxxxxx

Bitzer - Good luck with the rest. It can get very addictive can't it??I've decided against the temping and FF as I think that's too much for me. So I'm just sticking with the OPK to make sure I BD at the right time!


Ok, so I got up this morning and POAS, and I got my smiley face on my OPK stick just like this one

So it is CD13 and I am officially ovulating :jHad to resist the urge to jump on DH as he had just gone to bed an hour earlier after working the night shift. I'm out at 8pm tonight, so I've left him a note saying to eat early as I want some alone time with him as soon as I get in from work (he can't BD straight after eating as he gets a stitch :rotfl:). Hopefully we can get some BD in tomorrow too but it would have to be an early one as we're out for a birthday dinner.

I would really appreciate some stong swimmer vibes

I too have told DH that this month we are going for it!!!! He however is once again on weekend of duty when I am due to OV so that could be interesting to fit in BD!! xoxox

What CD are you on? Have you started your OPK yet? I started a day early cos I was too impatient lol. I've used 4 out of my 7 sticks, so have 3 left over if I need to use them next month, which I hope I don't!!

I've just looked out of my window at work, and seen 3 magpies on the opposite roof. You know the rhyme, 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl.......could it be a sign????????? :rotfl:

I'm feeling really low today..various things, + ttc is harder than I expected and I just feel its never going to happen and I've left it too late to start trying.

Hugs to catwoman...sorry you're having such a rotten time, and the other ladies who are having a tough time of it at the moment...life's never easy eh?

Sorry for moaning too...actually reading some of the recent posts on here, you realise how hard it is for everyone.

MV, I totally know what you mean, one day you decide "we're going to have a baby" and you think its sooo simple, cos lets face it, women have babies every day, and thats what we were put on the earth for! But then you start to realise that it really isn't that straightforward at all! Its nice to be able to come on a forum like this and meet others who are experiencing similar things, otherwise I think you'd feel totally alone! Don't worry about moaning either, I've been doing lots of that lately! I don't think its ever too late to try, my SIL is 41 and due 1st baby in Jan, and my mum was a similar age when she had me! Just hang on in there and your time will come! Lots of (((hugs))) to you xxx
