  • Just had a quick look on grabbit board. It is hard to know what to buy people. For the past two years we have gone to the 75% boots sale in jan and got people xmas presents from their, it means it costs us less and that we can get people better presents. We have a lot to buy for. Nearly done my xmas shopping now, need to get a few more bits for dh and its his birthday in december, need to get a couple more bits for that too. Just ordered the call of duty game for him, i had 20.00 in vouchers so it only cost me 12.00. Got ten pounds from uni for taking part in a research experiment. I am studying psychology with counselling. The assignment iam doing at the moment is how does play contribute to children's development.

    What you thinking of studying.
Eugh december birthdays are rotten:( Most people tend to forget mine:( I play a game each year and see if I can guess how many people forget:rotfl: I've been spot on the past 2yrs:rolleyes:
I'm thinking of studying Midwifery/Probate Law/or doing my NEBOSH for Facilities Management....a bit varied but I'm interested in all and can't decide, plus it depends on the cost of courses and how much money we'll have available, duration of courses etc etc theres always something that gets in the way:mad:
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
    [STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)

Evening everyone. It feels like ages since I posted and so much has happened.

Hugs to those who need them - a lot of sad news on here at the moment. Hope you girlies manage to keep your chins up and look forward.

Welcome to all the newbies - I can see you're settling in lol.

Not much to report here really. I OV'd 6 days ago so am just waiting now. Confuzzled, can I please be put on the list for 6th December? AF is due on 2nd so that should be long enough.

The no smoking is going well Sammy_girl you'll be pleased to know. Am on day 16 now :D I forgot a patch on Friday and my god that was hell (for me as well as everyone in the office lol) but DH came to the rescue at 5.30 before our 2 hour drive to Stafford to go out. I resisted on my first night out too :D (and DH got me a lovely bunch of flowers yesterday to say how proud of me he is. I NEVER get flowers)

Am not a happy bunny today tho. I opened my prescription to see she'd given me the wrong ones and gone a step up instead of a step down. I went back this afternoon to be told "we can't take prescriptions back once they've left the shop so you'll just have to manage for 2 weeks!!!" This is my stop smoking advisors "advice" to me!!!! I'm fuming!

Anyway - must dash, I have my waxing appointment now (ouchie!)

    Sticky Babydust to all.

    SK x

  • pru- if "dribs and drabs" are normal for you pre-AF then count when they start as CD1, if they're not then wait til she makes a bigger appearance as CD1. And cooking for 11  You're a braver woman than I! Hope it was lovely, but sounds like you deserved to chill today!

Thanks for the advice! it is normal for me so am now 1 day late but started getting AF-type cramps this evening so any thoughts of getting lucky the first month have been dashed! onwards and upwards :)

Yep I chilled and read 'The Lovely Bones', weird book...!

Thats not good. They all sound intresting. I think with midwifery you can get grants from the nhs. Taken our dog for a walk and been to gym but couldn't do much as my knees are really hurting and getting a shooting pain in my thigh. Feel like my body is falling apart.

Hey guys. Still no news here. AF is late now. I have some ICs somewhere. Should I test tonight or give it more time and test with FMU tomorrow or Wednesday?

Edit: My instincts say to give it more time but the devil on my shoulder is shouting "now now now"
  • Right guys, I'm on a month hiatus from here, FF, temping, charting and generally any sort of active ttc (bar the bding of course). Have had a really rough month (not as rough as some of you ladies though :grouphug:) and OH feels part of my stress is the whole shebang of ttc. I don't think I'm *that* bad, but I can see his point. Plus I had a mini work-related breakdown on saturday so I think the more I can just chill the better.

So...if you see me in here-kick me out! I'm going cold turkey for a month, today is CD1 so see you in ~26 days! Hopefully there'll be some lovely news for me to come back to.

Much love, hugs, willpower and sticky babydust to you all xx
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.
  • Gettinghitched and catw0man, huge hugs to both of you, thinking of you xxxx (((((Hugs)))))
Well i'm back at home after the 2nd op, luckily this time i didn't have to stay in overnight! They say the op went well this time, they went in with a camera before and after to make sure they got everything, so fingers crossed! I just want to move forwards now, got a follow up scan next week to make sure everything is how it should be!
Feeling a bit low today, which i suppose is totally understandable, but OH and i are at each others throat, we can't speak to each other without it turning into an argument, and then that turns into me crying!! What a day!
Thanks for all the thoughts that came my way, i took them all into theatre with me! ;)

Welcome to all the newbies, i'll try to start posting happy things soon i promise!! i'm not usually such a misery!! :p
