    Good Morning All,

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend :)

    Rubbish weather isn't it??

Nothing much to report here. On CD12 and been using my OPK since Saturday. Saturday was the first time I've ever POAS and it was weird. Wasn't sure how to position myself on the loo. TMI I know :o

Anyway, no LH surge yet, but I have had some EWCM today and yesterday, so hopefully I'll get my smiley face on my stick in the next couple of days - but its a bit manic this week so I'm secretely hoping I get my smiley face towards the end of the week :o

Please can I be put on the testing list for 11 Dec - ages away i Know :)

Hugs and baby dust to all x

    Hello,
    can i join you please?

So anyway long intro over. Down to the nitty gritty. I've just come off my pill halfway thru the pack and got my period two days later. I've always had a regular period my whole life but no idea how long cycle is or anything so will find that out this month.

Am I able to start trying this month if i like? How would I go about this lol. that sounds silly i know roughly how. I just want to know how to maximise my chances because i know these things take time, unles your my mother who is super fertile and can't look at a man without being pregnant. I'm one of 5. What do people think is best? Every day around the time or just a couple of times around the time or every other day from 10 days in etc.
Hello and Welcome:D Hope you're not here long;) Just do what you want to do to begin with as it can take a while for the pill to get out of your system but on the flip side of that you could be one of the lucky ones  As with everything ttc, theres no definites, which is REALLY annoying:rolleyes: Just do what you feel is best:) Its recommended that you bd every few days so OH doesn't have any old swimmers lying around that are too lazy to it hit the target but other than that enjoy it and try not to let it take over your life just yet:)
Oh and if it helps on the 1st page is a link to all abbreviations HTH xx

I think I have just had implantation bleeding, either that or my period is a week early. I know you are not meant to test this early but I just drove in my PJs to the supermarket to buy a twin pack of tests. I did one and the blooming thing didn't work!!!! Now I am drinking water to test again! I know I should wait till the morning but I can't and if it is negative my other tests will arrive through the post later in teh week so I can test again if AF isn't here. Think I am going to burst!
Do whatever you can to not test!! Sit on your hands if you have too:D Also drinking water to test won't give you accurate results I'm afraid as it'll be too diluted.....unless your crossing your legs for about 4hrs that is:) U sure it can only be implantation and not a bit of rough nookie?!?! Either way I'll keep fingers crossed for you;)
Well woke up this morning and looks like AF is here. What a very bizarre cycle - 37 days - that'll teach me to take ibuprofen the day before ov!
:j:j:jFinally you know where you're upto:j:j:j I was starting to get annoyed on your behalf:rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everyones ok and sticky baby dust to you all xxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi everyone.

Katy i'm so sorry to hear your news. Can understand you needing to take time out. I had seen the heartbeat this time one week and then the next week no heartbeat and it really gets your hopes up, I really thought it was going to be fine.

OH last night said that he had loved the baby, at the moment he doesnt know how he would feel about another. He is just very concerned about it happening again so I suppose he'll try not to get too attached too early on.

We have been bding but I'm feeling bloated and indegestiony so I think AF may come soon, I dont think for one minute that we would be lucky enough to get a BFP the first month after. At least once AF has been I can start to work out when its due etc.
  • Thanks fuzz! I'm annoyed by her presence as I feel being 11 days late led to *massive* amount of speculation and puzzlement on my part and then I didn't even get a bfp at the end of it! Grrr! Anyway, CD1, I know where I am, cycle 10 here we go again....
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.
  • Sorry Confuzzled could I have the date on the 2 December as this is when AF is due (I think anyway)

Rummer if it is implantation bleeding you are unlikely to get a positive preg test until a few days after this, as it is unlikely for HCG to be in your system for a few days after this - so if you can hold and keep your test!

  • (((Hugs))) GettingHitched sorry to hear your news.

I'm off to the hospital later on to get more blood tests for hcg levels, if they have gone up again I will be given drugs to kill off the cells, not looking forward to this
