Evening everyone! Well I did test and as you all predicted it was a foolish idea and I got a BFN. No bleeding today so I am going to hold off with fingers crossed and test at the end of the week first thing in the morning. Every twinge is making me nervous!

  • Not long back from hospital, was there from 2.30-7.30!!! And it's not great news. My hcg levels have risen again, and they think it must be an ectopic even though the scans have shown nothing, so I have to go in first thing tomorrow for a laparoscopy, if they find an ectopic they will remove it along with the tube. I am devastated to say the least. They may not find anything (i'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed). I'm not looking forward to the op and it took a bit of convincing to get them to let me home tonight but I had enough of having needles stuck in me. They took blood at 2.30 for my hcg levels then once at the ward after being told I would have to come in I had to get another lot of blood taken, the daft doctor decided to take it out the back of my hand this time for some unknown reason and she couldn't get the blood to come out so after she'd got one lot of blood she couldn't get anything into the second tube so the blood was pouring out my hand and the needle had come out at this point, so she tried again, with little success she resorted to taking the cap off the tube and letting the blood run in!!! The tube exploded in the portal system so the had to take more blood out my other arm, I have a huge lump and bruise on the back of my hand and it is agony and the crooks of both arems are also sore!!!!!

    Sorry for long post!!

  • hi catwoman

just to let you know i have had 2 laparoscopys in the last 9 months, not for the same reason for having a cyst off my ovary. Was a bit battered and bruised but wasn't too painful and they did give me some lovely morphine. I had a hole in my belly button and then 2 holes, one below and one to the side of this. Felt physically back to normal after a couple of days. In short was not half as bad as I'd expected it too be.

Hope that helps a little bit xx
