6 weeks? What is your normal cycle length? Could you be... :p

    13!
    Nah, I'll be ov'ing tomorrow:p

You should temp straight away - from tomorrow morning, first thing, before getting up, in bed;)

stef240377, I was told it is OK to DTD as soon as the bleeding stops, and you feel OK. Better use condom in case you are still open, and could get infection.

Thanks for reply QQuaver i thought no one was talking to me :embarasse

hi all, we are snowed in here !!! kids are off school and falling out already ! I do sometimes think i must be mad TTC again :rotfl: !!!

I have ordered a basal thermometer (sp!) from ebay and my question is do i start temping straight away or shall i wait till CD1 ?? I'm currently on CD11 and waiting for happy face to appear on my digital OV test, but i am not sure if we will be BD'ing anytine soon as i feel pants !! Think i have a kidney infection coming on  !

Hello Mrsmc, Sorry not to reply...not really confident about temping (or posting yet)

I'm officially rubbish at taking temps but I did try to start at CD1 only because it seemed neater/easier! Mine works it out in centigrade and I am between 34-36 degrees...an ice maiden by nature.
Hope you get your happy face. Ouch, aren't kidney infections excruciating and how do you know you're getting one?

Unfortunately not! When I was pg with DD I had Hyperemesis which means and soon as I hit the 5 week mark I basically have to be admitted to hospital becuse I'm sick 24/7 and have to be put on a drip! With DD I was in hospital for 6 weeks and had to be put onto steroids, so I know pretty much straight away when I am pg! And apparantly it gets worse with every pregnancy!

And since I came off the injection AF has some whenever she feels like it, but it's never been this long before

what a lovely day to be off work with crumpets and tea for company :)
Going back to my question about telling people (oh and i were having the conversation this morning while he was on his way to work -what the people on the bus musthave thought  - his best friend and his partner are ttc and told everyone pretty much in their circel and i knew my best friend was ttc (shes now preg) but neither of us want to tell people? maybe its the not living together thing i dont know life would definately be a lot easier if the job i wanted appeared in his area and they gave it to me or the job he wants appeared in my sleepy little town :(
ah well crumpets and tea for me while watching the snow and waiting for the next lady to pick up my parcel.
Still a bit unsure when to test - and i have a test from my periodgoingonalittleholidaywithouttellingme gate - will not test will not test.... also if af doesnt appear what would be the correct etiquette in testing? (baring in mind mine and ohs living a million miles away) as in
-wait til we together and test (like i am ever that patient)
    -tell him and test
-do the test and then have a drama if by some strange coincidence its a bfp on how to tell him
    - stop thinking about stuff too much and actually do something productive with my day even if i feel a bit poopular:D
Could you be my sunshine on a cloudy day?
Could you be my yellow when im feeling grey?

Can I go on the testing list for 28th as well, please? :)

DH and I have not told anyone as yet that we are TTC (well, I've not, and I don't think he has). Personally, I don't want the added pressure of people asking how we are getting on, since I'm not sure how my age is going to affect our chances. Plus, I know my Dad in particular would dearly love more grandchildren, and I'd hate for him to know we are trying to produce one for him but be disappointed if it doesn't happen! :o

nmun, yes it must be tricky knowing when to test if your OH isn't around all the time. I'll be testing first thing on the 28th! (Assuming I can actually wait that long, and af doesn't arrive in the meantime). I was planning on telling DH the result right away, but of course he'll be here with me. Maybe tell him in advance when you are due to test and then give him a call to let him know either way?
You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.

Bigbird, I agree with the added pressure thing. People mean well but it is offputting having your belly analysed and getting those smiley "well, are you?" expressions. I've always got a tum so I look pg anyway so they can't go by that alone.
NMUN, hello, I'm a newb. Since you and OH are apart a lot, I'd defintely try and wait for him to test so he feels included but then again, I'd probably cave in and test!! Also, if he is away during those crucial Oving days, can he not leave a specimen in the fridge...some regular posters (note I didn't use the word oldie) may know about this? Anyone?
