becs can I come and work with you please?
wheres jennyfleur gone?
did bitzer ever make it to the slopes?
I got a steam cleaner delivered today - have wanted one ever since I used to watch QVC as a kid (yes I'm wierd!), but not had chance to play with it yet as I've only just finished the work I needed to get done today (not enough disclipine earlier).
It makes me realise how much I was made to be a housewife - as a kid my mum used to tell me off for cleaning the bath when I was in it instead of cleaning myself . And I'm always finding myself accidentally cleaning the sinks at my office. You'd have thought I'd have a clean tidy house but its usually a pigsty - I've only just found the bottom of the laundry basket after more than a year of fighting the ever growing pile!
And in other news, I was browsing rightmove yesterday and found a house i really like the look of - renting at the mo and think it could be a good idea to move before we have a baby.
Sorry for blabbing on!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
thanks rik, hear david lloyd in ringwood is nice thats what puts me off the gym is the membership price and plus ill prob only go once, ive started to go swimming at the queen elizabeth leisure centre in wimborne, its werid to think you are literally 5/10 mins away from me!!!
penny yeah our post seems fine, i saw a postman on his bike with bags when i went out off the doctors yesterday and that was at 6 in the evening! so i think they must off been working late.

ooo ITS SNOWING i know most off you are prob annoyed now by the snow but we have had nothing yay SNOW!0 -
Uh yes Sleepy rather large portions as well as rather large quantities of butter! Always makes me laugh on saturday kitchen where he says about everyone going on about how much butter he uses!
Maddie you can come and clean for me and I'll give you cake! :rotfl:Seem to always have a house in need of hoovering despite having done it 30 minutes before! We have wooden floors throughout downstairs and a hgairy border collie so not a good combination.
Twinklie lasagne sounds lush! I can't remember the last time I had lasagne! Oh yes I can it was over a year ago when everyone from work came for dinner before we went to see the stage show of the full monty! I made the delia one which tastes flipping gorgeous but is a real faff! DH doen't eat cheese so I never get to have things like that now! We sometimes go to Pizza Express an he always has an American hot with no cheese!
Talking of batch cooking we've got litres of turkey stock in the freezer to do some soups with. I made some lush rolls at the weekend so freezer is well stocked with them!0 -

That is very MSE! Ooooh I'll look on Ebay. Kind of in two minds whether to buy some ready for testing. Are they as accurate as they say they are from 6 days before period is due?
Argh! This whole ttc & waiting around is already proving stressful. :rotfl::j Comping Newbie :j

Thanks ST, I've just snorted my wine rather than swallowing it...........it would have been a waste to spit it over the laptop!!!! :rotfl:0 -

Hey Maddie! not heard anything from Bitzer since she said they were on the tarmac at Lyon waiting to see what happened - back to Gatwick or onwards journey. Am really hoping that's a good sign and that she's off boarding (or probably at apres by now!!) as we speak.
We decided we would buy a house before we got married (3 1/2 yrs ago now) as DH said he wouldn't marry me unless we were in our 'own' house rather than renting. Although we got bitten by the Northern Rock bug with a 110% mortgage (but didn't take the full amount they offered us, a good move I feel TBH as we can comfortably afford payments whereas otherwise we would have been screwed) I can honestly say it's the best thing we ever did. If nothing else we're on the ladder and have a spare room so room to grow if needed - fingers crossed. Fancy posting a link so we can all have a nosy?I do so love looking at houses............:o

They can detect hcg if the levels are there, but in some women they're not high enough at that stage. It's really tough, but best to wait until your period is due because it's a little less gutting to get AF than a BFN imo. Also you're less likely to be aware of a chemical pregnancy if you test later iyswim. Having said that, I'm probably one of the worst offenders for testing early so can't really tell you not to..0 -

Thank you. I'm probably best not to buy any at this stage then & wait until the week its due. I know I'm too weak to restrain myself!:j Comping Newbie :j

know exactly what you mean RR. Sometimes I wish I had a window on my tummy so I could see exactly what's going on in there.0
