Sexki11en are you only temping with ff or are you checking cm etc as well? If only temping ff will only pick up ov after ov has ocurred. CD14 is not necessarily that late either, I have ov'd as late as CD22 before now, and even though my cycles are more normal now the meds are ok I do ov anything between cd 14 and cd19 usually.

    Hey Becs,

No, I only temp at the moment. Not quite got my head around the CM thing yet lol (especially after BD :o) My first 2 cycles were OV on day 12 which is why i'm a bit unsure of whats going on. Last month was out too, but I was ill around OV.

I have a CBFM coming my way for next cycle, so that'll be a lot more help hopefully and I'll have more control over whats going on. I'm a bit of a control freak (which I only realised when I was planning our wedding lol) and if I don't know whats going on, I kinda give up a bit

Like I said, i'm having a bit of a "meh" about it all at the moment. I still want it more than ever, but have got myself stuck in a bit of an "it's never going to happen" slide. I know it will and i'll get my PMA back soon (I hope!) but thats where my heads at at the moment.

And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!
  • Becs I'm loving the sound of a chocolate cola cake (whilst desperately trying to avoid the photos of smartie's rather gorgeous looking flutterby cakes on previous pages as well hehe) what's the chances of the recipe hon? xxxx

Sexki11en ov will usually vary by a few days but your lp should stay the same within 1- 2 days. The cbfm will definately help you with ov dates, I find it massively easier than temping too. I didn't use mine this month and I now realise what a control freak I am! I absoloutely hate not knowing when I have ov'd as now don't know when to expect av and won't know how long lp is this month (have been trying to increase it by a couple of days as usually between 10-12).
Moley the chocolate cake is definately a firm favourite! When I tried it there is definately no other chocolate cake recipe for me now! It is so incredibly moist and if ever I say I'll make a cake for work everyone goes nuts asking if I'll make it! Definately a treat though as absoloutely laden with everything bad! But here is the recipe, really easy to make too! Oh yeah just happens to be by my all time favourite chef! :D
  • Mmmm. James Martin can father my babies any day of the week.

    Evening all!

Penny, our post is shocking! Not had any since last Tuesday, and the weekend before all the snow nonsense I ordered loads of bits for DS' birthday (on the 19th) including some icing and stuff for his cake (SpongeBob :D - will post pics) I want to make it this weekend for his party so it flippin' well better turn up!

    Hope everyone is OK xxx

PS Smartie, your flutterby cakes looked yummy! I could almost taste them xxx

Edit: I've been looking for a decent chocolate cake recipe becs! Will give that one a go soon. And James Martin...MMMM!

Back from the gym, showered and had my tea, but no cake:( fighting the urge to go and get that fruit and nut i started yesterday out of the cupboard
Penny our post has been fine, my mum posted a package out to me on Monday and it arrived today, sorry if that's not very helpful

Lauralou I go to David Lloyd in Southampton and once you're a member for longer than 6 months you can use any other David Lloyd in country which is very handy when we go away visiting familyand I get the urge to go (although that's not very often) but it does mean I can use the one in Ringwood at the weekends rather than trekking back to Southampton. The membership is pretty steep :o but I've been going there for years and i really enjoy it, I'm very highly strung and exercise is the only thing that helps lower my stress levels.

so i've had a look at my diary and tried to work out when my most fertile days might be, it looks like it could be anywhere between Monday and Friday next week as my cycle the past two months has been a bit random. I'm going to use my OPK's to check anyway but my OH is away on a business trip Sunday night - Wenesday night. I told him he'll have to leave me a 'specimen' and 'I'll go to town with the turkey baster' :rotfl:

Most definately! Breakfast in bed with him would definately be the kind of experience a girl could get used to! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
He has a new girlfriend now who has a little boy so he is a sort of stepdad to him, he says he calls him "daddy James" Ah how sweet!
  • Ach well. I'm sure I'd end up the size of a house if he was cooking for me. Has anyone found his portion sizes rather generous?

Noticed some relatively cheap ones on ebay earlier if that helps. I was looking for ICs, but I've decided not to buy any just yet, otherwise I'll waste them. How MSE am I?
