becs i know what you are saying about tests etc, i think at the back off my mind i know im not going to get any answers and it prob is just a case off 'these things happen' and i know even if they do find something i wont hold out any hope that it wont happen again because i dont think any doctor will ever be able to say that 'i will never mc again'.

If Courgette is in agreement, would you mind if there is a similar list on the "less than 12 months thread". I was just over there and there seem to be a few "new" faces-ones that haven't been here first. And I was just thinking it might be helpful to have a similar list so that we understand where each other's concerns come from.ie first time pg might not be clued up re vitamins and doctors visits etc where others have concerns that come from a different place.

Or am I just feeling left out now:confused:...or maybe just bored because I cant sleep and am looking for a chat:o

I'm sure they'd all think it was a very good idea as well Polka. Sure Courgette will be in agreement.

:rotfl:I'm a saddo! I'm usually quite a latebird, that added to the fact we do always have a nice lay in at the weekends so not tired! DH is sat playing with his new ipod so I've got Gavin and Stacey on and flicking around on the internet!
How about you? I though you pg women were supposed to be crippled with tiredness!;)

I am shattered but have loads of TMI going on tonight and I just cant get comfortable.DF is about to make a hot drink so I think he's had enough of me hogging the sofa-its becoming a habit, one day he's just not going to move me to the bed.

AH bless you. It must be worrying for you but keep thinking positive, everything will be ok! Innocence and ignorance must be bliss in pregnancy. Not taunting you with all the what if's. You need to focus on all the millions of women that have happy healthy babies every single day in the world and keep telling yourself you are one of those women! :grouphug:

I know one of my mums neighbours had multiple m/c's and it was found for whatever reason she could not carry boys, she has 2 girls now but every time she caught with a boy it ended in m/c. .

this is exactly like my mothers story, 4 m/c before me then one between me & my sister, some were pretty late as well. They were all boys and she's since found out she carries the heomophilia (sp?) gene.

unfortunately on her side of the family, my generation have lots of ttc problems, generally if one sibling has children then the other/rest won't be able to have them. My sis has 4 so that makes me feel that my chances have dropped a little more. Doesn't help that i had test a few years ago, before met hubby and they couldn't find one of my ovaries, said my hormones were ok but couldn't prove i had a left ovary.

oh well, only officially been trying since beginning of Dec 09 so a long road to travel yet.

    Hi LemonTree,
Don't be too despondant, it's probably more coincidence than anything in the family. Most TTC issues are totally genetically unrelated. Everyone in my family, aunts, uncles, grandparents and brother have all had at least 2 children with no problems (gran had 5!) and yet we're still trying after 3 years. Dh hasn't had any issues in his family either so I guess it's just one of those things. I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour which affects fertility and again they are quite rare (less than 4500 diagnosed each year) so it's just luck of the draw in the end.
