You can count me out for November ladies, AF arrived this afternoon, so it's on to attempt 10 for us. Feeling quite positive though:
1. I won't feel guilty having some vino tonight - making some muled wine for our fireworks party.
2. At least I haven't wasted my money on the ov sticks and it's going to be interesting to see what is happening chemically in my body around what should be ov time.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Hello lovely ladies!!
Ive had a busy morning, got a new car(woo) so had to the car insurance(not cheap!) and tax, so all my money is nearly gone :-(. Then gave the house a good clean.
Sorry about the BFN maddie, maybe invest in some other pg test rather then ebay ones, when i did a test i got a bfn then a week late i got a bfp so there is still hope.
smartie when are you going to test?going to wait a few days?
hugs to merfe and anyone else who needs them.
sir monster, with ttc, i think its different with each person, with my first mc we started trying again then 2months later got a bfp, then after my second with started again as soon as i stopped bleeding, i have no idea when i will be OV next, so i do try and BD every/other night so hopefully i catch it!! hugs to you.
ooo i had a rather fun night, went out with friends and went to a pub and i band was playing, there were kinda rock/pop, the men were about 50/60 and the singer was OMG, just werid dancing around everywhere, i couldnt look at him because he made me laugh so much(suppose you kinda had to seem him, to know what im on about!!!:rotfl:)
I feel it was good for me to go out, realise that i can still have a good time!:rotfl: another step forward!
Anyone got anything nice planned today?:D0 -
Sir monster; really sorry for you. x
Courgette: I've never been married but I do recognise what you're feeling from my friends that have iyswim! post wedding blues I'm afraid. Get out all your photo's and have a lovely wander down memory lane or...book another wedding and do it all over again and again and again!
Twinklie: how bizarre. I work in Preston. And yes, it is a dump!.It is truly chav tastic.0 -

Post-wedding blues:( I warned my friend of that and she's just getting over it now....they got married in May!!!! You'll be fine hun...just look over any snaps or things you kept from the wedding day to remind you of the magic:) I found it very therapeutic to do a scrapbook/memory box of the day......and on days I'm feeling properly miserable(yes even now 18months later!) I try on my wedding dress:p:rotfl:
Smartie - Totally know how you feel, last month I was 6days late and didn't test at all..mainly coz I was too scared obviously my instinct was right, I'm still here! lol
Post-wedding blues... that was the phrase I was trying to think of!:o :rotfl:
Oh yes... you were 6 days late! I was thinking we're normally due AF around the same time and now you've gone and ruined it all!:p My thinking is AF is gonna turn up and by not testing I've saved money.... very MSE;)
I've had nearly a week of spotting now. It's nothing like the spotting after I got my TLP a few months ago, although early mc has crossed my mind again
I think DH would like a drink tonight so I am umming and arring about testing... just so I know for sure I'm not PG and can have a drink with himBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

I had that problem, I had done a test i think just over a week before and it was negative, and we were going to a party so i just did a test to see if i could drink(turned out i couldnt have a drink). But suppose only you can decide when to test:D0 -
Wooooo where is everyone tonight?!!
We were on the second page!
I found some OV tests today but the expire date was august so would they be ok to use after 2/3months or will they just be invalid?!!0 -
Everyone is being very quiet at the moment
smartie12 have you dared test yet?
Lauralou, I can't imagine they'll be anything wrong with them just a few months out of date. It's worth trying them anyway.
I tested twice this morning, once with the usual IC then also with another cheap stick style test bought from bodycare, both BFN.
I'm back to work tomo after my week off, and don't want to test on weekday mornings. However it's OH's graduation ceremony on wednesday and I've got the day off for that, so if AF hasn't come by then I'll go to the doctors.Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
:rotfl: I think it's funny there has been no argument about Preston being a dump!! Ha ha. It is though. Elliebobs how weird that you work here. Very strange.
My bath is in situ now but not plumbed in...that is todays job!! Fingers crossed. Very exciting.
I didn't get post wedding blues. I wonder why?Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well spotting practically stopped during the night so I did a test at 6 this morning..... BFN! I knew it would be but I wanted to know for sure that I wasn't pg and that AF was on her way. I wasn't at all upset... in fact I was quite relieved IYKWIM
And then guess what????
AF turned up a few hours later!!!:rotfl:CD36:rolleyes:
No hugs needed..... no actually could I have some for this awful AF pain??;)
Maddie it's down to you now hun:D How late are you?? I wouldn't bother with docs until you're months late as they wont do much in my experience.
Laura... I personally wouldn't use out of date tests of any sort. They cheap enough on ebay anyway so buy yourself some more if you want to use them;)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
