Huge hugs for Laura and Penny. Hope all goes well for the both of you, and you are getting all the tlc that you deserve x

Well I think yesterday was my crappest day of the year so far (only 4 days in lol). I went into work to handover all my work stuff and just got so emotional about it all. Wanted to do it as quickly as poss so I could just get home. Ended up taking til 4.30pm! I put it down to me being a nice person and not wanting to leave them all in the !!!!! Anyway, my customers were the best - i called them all to tell them and they were shocked/upset/generally lovely people and more than one said I could use them as a reference. That made me feel better :)

Prior to all of the above, AF came first thing yesterday morning  What is going on with my cycles?? Since we started ttc, my cycles have been:

    Cycle 1 - 28 days
    Cycle 2 - 27 days
    Cycle 3 - 26 days

If it carries on like this I'll be having a period every other week

Anyway, if my PMA wasn't non existant enough - realistically I think we have to put our ttc plans on hold until I find another job. *sigh* who said the New Year was a fresh start.........

Sorry for being a complete whingebag, please feel free to skip over me

Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x

sammy you are so *not* a whinge bag. You have plenty to sound off about so don't worry about it. We are here to listen and support.

Jobs wise, something will come up I'm sure, what field do you work in?

    Katy

PS. regarding the cycle lengths, sounds like you're having a short luteal phase - should be 14 days after ov (well, the perfect cycle is) are you just taking folic acid or does your supplement have some vit b2 in it as well? I'm on the pink seven seas folic acid plus b2 and it seems to help me get to 28 days. (most of the time but only had one AF since MC and it's hard to know how many days that one was).

Hi all, my cycles have also been all over the place since TTC, i have been bleeding on and off now since cd17, (which was xmas eve)!! Past few days quite heavy, so goodness knows when i will be OV'ing this cycle !!! I am waiting for my Digital OV kit to turn up from ebay so i can get an idea when to BD (who says romance is dead:rotfl:)

On a brighter note i got a call yesterday from someone telling me i have won £250  and a family ticket to the NEC in birmingham to the funworld thing thats on and i also won £4.90 on the euromillions, so now i am waiting for my BFP this cycle, they say good thing comes in 3's ;) !!!

Finding it hard to keep up with all the posts!
Just wanted to share that i'm at 6 DPO - im happy to have got this far as last cycle my LP was 2 days! i got a BFP at 10 DPO last time but im sure ill jinx it and af will come along if i set a date to test!!

Editing to add ive jinxed myself! Spotting which i always do before AF so if AF comes tomorrow at least my LP has increased by 4 days.
  • Hello all, not had any snow here but it is v. v. cold. I'm dreading my gas bill! I've seen on the news that the snow has caused chaos elsewhere, Astro hope your pipes are ok (if you pardon the expression ;))

Went to see my lovely GP this morning, he was so pleased for me :o he said he was not going to refer me for an early scan at the moment as he said (as some of you have pointed out) that everything can look OK on a scan one day, but then things could still go wrong. In other words, what will be will be. He also pointed out that the morning sickness is a good thing, as some believe it's a healthy sign of implantation. I hope so!!

Still keeping everything crossed for Laura & Penny, you're both in my thoughts xxxxx

Hi & welcome to newbies and hugs to all that need them xxxxx

Hi Ladies, I just got the message that school is closed tomorrow! Woo. I'm just glad I don't have to repeat this mornings fun!! Man it was hard work!! I wish I'd been paying attention to CM and ov and stuff. I've no idea if it's likely we'll have cracked it this month!

Mind you finishing in Autum would be awesome...we are due Ofsted then!! Ha ha

Maddie I'm doing ok at the mo. On a bit of tenderhooks at the mo as dh had his little swimmers tested last thursday so waiting on the results. I am secretly petrified and feeling very emotional about it but trying not to let on. If it comes back bad news then that will be the end of the road for us TTC.

Sammy sorry everything is so crap at the mo for you. Regards your cycle length I wouldn't worry too much about it. I seriously doubt it's a lp problem with cycle lengths like that. They only consider that a problem if less than 10 days. If you're charting you may well see that ov can vary quite a bit from cycle to cycle so if you've ov'd earlier your cycle will be shorter. My last 6 cycles have been
    26 ov on 15 so lp 11days
28 ov on 16 so lp 12 days
23 ov on 14 so lp 9 days
28 ov on 17 so lp 11 days
26 ov on 15 so lp 11 days
34 ov on 19 so lp 15 days
So as you see ov varies quite alot but lp was 11-12 days (hoping last months 15 was down to the b6!) You will also get a rogue cycle from time to time (9 day lp) which is just the body's way of getting rid of what's not working and onto the next cycle more quickly.
