Congratulations to you freebie, what lovely news!

Laura thinking about you and hoping that it's not bad news. It's still early days so think about your baby bedding in and getting a better grip on you rather than the worst. I hope it stops for you too penny I am praying for good news for you.

I've had total meltdown today. Kept it all in at work until the drive home then bawled my eyes out. Someone I work closely with told me today that she is 14 wks (she doesn't know but she is due two weeks later than I would have been in July). I now have to watch her progress thinking it should of been me. And she has said it was an accident and not a particularly desired outcome but she's going with it.

So DH got the full brunt of my emotions when I got in. I'm now really worried I'm going to cry at work. Workmen are in reception next to toilets so I can't even make a dash for it as we have to use another building where you have to be buzzed in... ooh it's so complicated.

I'm still looking for my PMA. I have a permanent feeling that I am going to cry at the moment. Anyone know any good jokes?

(((hugs))) to all that need them, especially Penny and Laura I hope things work out for the best.

    Welcome to the newbies :j:j

Well I'm in the 2ww and AF is due around the 11 Jan, but may be naughty and test early as my parents are visiting on Thursday for 4 nights and I know we bded at the right time. Will try to hold off as long as I can but may not be able to post the results with parents around :o

I think you all had a good chat re commuting and where you live, bit about me I live in South London (Croydon) and have to go to SW London everyday which takes about 45 mins to an hour, but there is talk of moving our unit to NW London which would add an hour each way  so don't fancy that if I'm preggers or got kids.

Will be lurking and hope see good news.

sorry Laura, i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

    Freebiequeen, congratulations on your news.

Quaver, yes unfortunately AF was here for 10 months, until i was finally given a tablet to get a few days rest from it, then i went back on the pill. Seem's i'm all or nothing, other years i only had 3 or 4 during the year, so not good news for me really with the TTC. but i've never held out much hope of babies (thought my career was enough - but not much of a career really) so until recently i didn't really believe that i would actually be starting to try. Strangely now i'm obsessing about it, me who swore blind she didn't want a baby.
  • Laura & Penny, really keeping everything crossed for both of you. I know how worried you must be, but try & rest up and stay positive :o

Freebie, many congrats on your BFP xxx

Didn't end up going to work today as have had my first ever experience of morning sickness (well, actually it lasted until about 7pm!!) Never had it in my previous pregnancies. It was very grim, and the only way I could stop feeling sick was to sleep, so thats what I did.

    Positive vibes to all xxxx

Laura and Penny - thinking of you and hoping for the best, as b&j said we'll be here for you no matter what.

Freebie that's great news, congratulations! I'm also on my 8th cycle of TTC now, so I'm hoping there's a special rule of 8th time lucky...

sleepytiger sorry to here about your dad. It must be very sad to see. I guess you just have to accept how you feel - even if you think you are being a bit 'crazy' that's ok (i don't know if that made any sense!)

Lemon Tree its very easy to get sucked into obsessing isn't it! Me and OH started off just not using contraception rather than actually trying, but that was just about impossible for me! Do you know why your periods are so random? I'm just wondering whether your doc would be willing to do some investigating now given your history?

katy sorry to hear you had a bad day :( could you tell your colleague about your m/c? Personally I always prefer for people to know about my problems/past etc. I'd have thought it will be incredibly difficult for you to act 'normal' throughout her pregnancy.

becs how are you doing? You're looking after us all as always!
Proud to be a moneysaver!

Looking back at my AFs after mc, my cycle has been shrinking every time:

1st full cycle after mc op 37 days
    2nd 32 days
    3rd 30 days
    4th 26 days

Can't shrink any more can it? Perhaps I should've counted the spotting days as CD1, in which case it would be:

    1st 37 days
    2nd 30 days
    3rd 31 days
    4th 27 days

Anyway, my last cycle which is my first TTC cycle was short:rolleyes:
    I mis-calculated my ov:mad:

I think this cycle, I better start DTD as soon as AF finishes (am on CD4, it usually lasts 7 days but who cares, will DTD tomorrow).
