I had trouble with constant bleeding after removal of one of these, and was not having a natural AF. I would give yourself a little time for your fertility to return to normal?
    .

Hmmm, I had mine changed last year and after a nightmare ended up about 6 weeks without one - I didnt seem to have a problem.

However, now I'm thinking that maybe I should have the coil removed now, start taking the folic acid and wait for a normal cycle to kick in!!

I dont remember it being this 'hard' the last two times ;)

  • Hi Laura - so sorry to hear that you're having such a nightmare time. Like everyone else, I've got everything crossed for you. Just rest as much as you can today, before your scan tomorrow. Remember as Penny and other people have said, it's not unusual to have this sort of thing happening for no reason. I was amazed when I had two big bleeds at 8wks, and the baby was still hanging in there afterwards - I was so sure I was mc'ing again. But if it is bad news, we'll all be here for you. Biggest hugs.

Big hugs for you too, Penny - you're being very brave. Thinking of you both. xxx
  • And congratulations to freebie and all the other recent BFPs. And hugs to all fighting with AF, family troubles, etc - I'm thinking of you all.

Just been crawling around our freezing cold loft, worrying that one of the pipes has frozen - hopefully it's okay - I'm just sitting here keeping an ear open for the sound of rushing water.... Hope everyone keeps safe in the snow and ice.

    Hello,

don't suppose I can join in on this one can I? We're ttc  our first, hoping it will be soon.

Good Luck to all the ladies ttc (oh and the fellas, I do apoligise!) and congrats to all those who are pregnant :T

Is there a thread lurking around on bargain 'suppliments' those who are ttc have tried etc? Just thought, I haunt one ttc forum on another site and they often have info on various suppliments you can take and if you find a bargain that works it would be rude not to share :D?

I've had total meltdown today. Kept it all in at work until the drive home then bawled my eyes out. Someone I work closely with told me today that she is 14 wks (she doesn't know but she is due two weeks later than I would have been in July). I now have to watch her progress thinking it should of been me. And she has said it was an accident and not a particularly desired outcome but she's going with it.

So DH got the full brunt of my emotions when I got in. I'm now really worried I'm going to cry at work. Workmen are in reception next to toilets so I can't even make a dash for it as we have to use another building where you have to be buzzed in... ooh it's so complicated.

I'm still looking for my PMA. I have a permanent feeling that I am going to cry at the moment. Anyone know any good jokes?

Aw hun, I so know where you're coming from, a colleague of mine is going on maternity leave soon - she's due a month before I would've been due - it is incredibly hard to see her sometimes. I did have a chat with her when I found out and told her what had happened and that if I ran off or looked less than pleased to see her, it was nothing personal - I truely am pleased for her, just very jealous that it's not me.
    why's tigger got no friends????

cos he's always playing with pooh!!!!

    so lame xxxxxx

    Even bigger groan!!

ETA: Laura, fingers crossed that all goes well for you tomorrow.

You don't think it could be implantation bleeding?
